Where Ohio State STANDS after Kent State

And Willie, it's a 59-3 Ohio State win over Kent State.

Mm-hmm.

You go into a game like this and you worry you're not going to find anything to talk about.

But I think we've got plenty.

And we're going to start with Jeremiah Smith.

Jeremiah Smith passes Michael Jenkins.

He now has 2,958 career yards.

A healthy rest of his season should put that record nearly out of touch.

But what I would ask you is your thoughts on...

Kind of the way it was handled and then the tribute to Michael Jenkins where Jenkins actually had a video.

I thought that was really touching and a good thing to do.

Just your thoughts overall on the career path that Jeremiah Smith is

on.

We hear this phrase or this term a lot, but I think it really truly applies here.

He's one of one.

I mean, two years, two seasons and three games to break a four-year record.

And, honestly, to look at the list, a lot of guys played three.

A lot of guys possibly could have passed it had they played the fourth.

But he did it in two and a quarter.

Yeah.

There is an asterisk, kind of.

But

Jeremiah's going to put it so far out of reach.

Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson had the 2020 COVID season where they didn't get their full complement of games.

And of course, we didn't know Olave would come back for another year.
