Michael Jenkins

And what that's going to do is open up the play-action pass.

Michael Jenkins is going to be a big-time guy for these guys off the running game.

Yeah, Purdue has a better rushing offense than the Ohio State, but you know what? It's Ohio State's rush defense, the best in the land, the second best in college football over the last 30 years.

That's what's going to stop Purdue.

First in completion, and first time Purdue will have to punt it away.

Brent Slayton to kick.

Michael Jenkins waits back at the 20 for Ohio State.

A lot of shifting going on in that Ohio State defensive line to see if they try to pressure the punter.

Mondays, myself and Brian Weinstein are breaking down the game on Booth Review.

Yes.

Michael Jenkins.

Yes, sir.

Yes.

I

was like, man, I just felt like Craig Krenzel hit Michael Jenkins on that for a second.

But 2002, it was never pretty.

No.

Oh, boy.

To Michael Jenkins.

This was a 38-yard touchdown pass to Jeremiah Smith.

Both in the state of Indiana, so that's pretty cool.

And what that's going to do is open up the play-action pass.

Yeah

... and down the line to Michael Jenkins, and now with the recent trend of Smith and Jigbu who's playing tonight.

You got Wilson, Olave, McLaurin.

Uh, you know, it's, the list goes on and on, but this is the guy that stands atop the record books at Ohio State in receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, and receptions.

He has the most receptions in Ohio State history, passing Emeka Ibuka.

He has the most receiving yards in Ohio State history, passing Michael Jenkins.

And he's the only receiver in history to go over 3,000 yards, And he's now the leading touchdown getter passing Chris Alave.

All three of them as a junior and the year ain't even over.

We're standing right in the middle of it.

Now think about all the people that he just passed on the wide receiver list alone.

Chris Carter, Terry Glenn, David Boston, Michael Jenkins, Santonio Holmes, Michael Thomas, Terry McLaurin, Paris Campbell.

Chris Alave, Garrett Wilson, Jackson Smith and Jigba, Marvin Harrison Jr. and Mechag Buka.
