And I think, you know, we've talked on here about, well, is the SEC deeper than the Big 10? And then said, this past weekend may have shown that a little bit.

Well, when you see these numbers, you'll say, oh yeah, this kind of shows that because in the Big 10, Ohio State, Oregon, around 50 million.

They're way ahead of everybody else.

You have the USC, Michigan, Indiana, high 30s, maybe low 40s.

That is not particularly close to top of the, of the, um, list, but it's still in the top 15 or so.

Top fifteen to twenty.

So I think that's clearly enough to be competing with the Ohio States and Oregons and Texas.

And I'd even go a little bit further down than that.

$54 million for this year's team alone.

Oregon, right up there in the $50 million range.

Hold that thought on them because they had a brutally bad loss to Oklahoma State last week.

Texas, LSU, Texas A&M, Miami, Notre Dame, That's the big cluster that's out ahead going down into the $40 million range and change Tennessee, Alabama, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Indiana, Michigan, Florida, SC.

With the top dogs.

Now to the Oregon situation.

Who identified this Dante Mortel? Was it the defensive coordinator, Skyler Cassidy, someone else on the staff?

If it's a bone bruise, then yeah, maybe he misses one week and can tough it out the next week.

If it's an MCL, I mean, I would be shocked if he's available for Oregon.

And I said on Twitter as this news came out, like, at this point, I think we all have to mentally and emotionally and spiritually prepare for Trent Mosley likely being out until the bye week and then coming back to play Wisconsin, which means missing...

The four games that will define the narrative

Rutgers, Oregon, Washington, and Penn State, which is a huge bummer because we all had so much fun watching him play, and USC needs him.

I know that USC has good receivers and can still go out and win those games without him, but having him... would be a big, big plus for USC in those games.

What do you think about the, did you see the Oregon game? The Oklahoma State coach said one of the linebackers figured out that Dante Moore, he signaled every snap, whether it was a run or a pass.

Oh, I didn't see that.

They didn't say what the signal was, but the coach, whatever his name is, said a linebacker in the first series picked up that if he does this, it's a run, and if he does this, it's a pass, and they just did it the whole game.

Sounds like Oregon without Will Stein.

Doesn't know how to call plays.

That's a pretty big error,

And I think when we started to look, obviously Ohio State and Texas were at or near the top of the list.

Oregon and USC wasn't that far behind.

And then there were several others, of course, Miami in that upper echelon.

But as we got deeper into the Big Ten, there was a big glob of teams kind of in that 20 to 25 range and iowa was at the bottom of that 25 20 to 25 range roughly in the 19 to 20 million dollar range is where the hawkeyes roughly are and uh it ranked 17th out of 18 schools in the big 10 for that and um i know from the schools i talked to and Some of them are very sheepish about sharing their stuff, even if they were spending a lot more than that, because with more money becomes more scrutiny.

And then they're like, no, you're too, we're too high.

But they also don't want people to know they're spending that because then what if that happens if they lost Ohio State and they, you know, go nine and three again.

It's like you spent $50 million and, you know, Oregon's kind of in the same boat right now.

You don't lose to Oklahoma State.

I think, I mean, you got the common opponent with Oregon State, who also might be a little better than we thought.

I want to play Oregon State in the future.

But I think I've seen people pick him up this week on waivers.

I have not really seen people talk about Arian Hampton at Oregon State.

We've talked a lot about Atkinson.

We've talked a lot about Jesse Legree and the fact that he's leading the country in receiving.

And he's only trailing Jesse Legree by four in targets through two weeks.

He's had two 70-yard games.

His breakout game is coming if Oregon State is going to continue to throw the football.

And I've only seen Hampton picked up in really deep leagues or leagues where I have really sharp players.

And, I mean, heck, you said you're playing Toledo next week.

They're Tulsa, Tulsa, the team that beat Oklahoma state, the team that just beat Oregon.

Right.

That's a really tough non-conference draw.

There's not going to be a certain time where Arkansas has a chance in this.

That's how it feels.

College football is crazy because who would have guessed that Oklahoma State would have beaten Oregon last week? I know it's crazy.

But when it comes to coaching, when it comes to player, when it comes to talent, Georgia outmatches Arkansas in every regard.

But I was going to say, you were with me at the national championship game.

But I was at the Peach Bowl against Oregon.

And I remember on my way to the stadium, it was 95% Indiana fans.

And I feel like it's one of those things, to the point about just the temperament of the fan base, there are so many fan bases that take those trips for granted nowadays.
