Minnesota Gophers are 2-0 in the Big Ten after last Saturdays win over the Michigan Wolverines. Yet, it feels like nobody is buying into or believing in the Minnesota Gophers and P.J. Fleck. Why is…
Thor NystromHostRoss BrendelHostI don't care, Thor, to go through and revisit how young or how negative young I was the last time the Gophers won the game in Minneapolis, but I'm looking forward to talking about the Michigan game with you, previewing Purdue and going around all of college football as you and I are wont to do when we get together on a more often than not Wednesday edition of Gophers 101.
And might I be the first to tell you, at least on this show, hopefully not today, what a great shirt for the occasion today, Thor.

I loved that they played Mr. Brightside when the students were storming the field.

I love when they did that jump around when they upset Wisconsin at home and stuff like that.

But yeah, it was another big win and a huge, huge bounce back for the Gophers since the Mississippi State game.
We're starting to love the troll job at Huntington Bank Stadium, the artist formerly known as TCF Bank Stadium, because when Mr. Brightside played, that was my first thought was we did, we, not we, the team at the stadium did jump around when they beat Wisconsin.
I don't even know if that's the technical name of the song after they beat Penn State.
We're getting good at storming the field at Huntington Bank Stadium, and hopefully there are more to come this season.
Per usual, Thor, people have heard my thoughts if they listened on Saturday or Sunday or watched on Saturday or Sunday.
They have yet to hear your thoughts on the Gophers beating Michigan in a game where you can't often say this about a Gophers victory.
I would say that was a game, Thor, where even though it was in doubt up until the end, the final score, I don't think super indicative of how well the Gophers played, at least defensively.
But I thought the game, say what you want about the final score, what it looked like, largely dictated by the University of Minnesota this past Saturday.
