But again, with Nebraska looking good early, it's so interesting how things can change because we're two games in.

And if you were to ask most Husker fans half a game in, they would have been nervous as heck, right? But two games in.

we're doing we're you know we're looking good uh so we'll have to wait and see right uh but in any case i'll finish off the the matchup predictor there for you because we we had did

But so, yeah, the losses here, according to Matching Predictor, would still be Indiana and Oregon.

I mentioned ESPN Matching Predictor had 82% for Nebraska.

And then we could get into November.

All right, so the question we had, and then we'll dive into some of the things from the press conferences that have been quite interesting this week.

All right, Jack, would another loss to Iowa be the end of rule in Nebraska? To me, that is the most important game of the year.

I think people are going to view that not as just one win.

Like every game you play, you beat Bowling Green 56-7, it's one win.

And a lot of times are better by the end of the season.

Have a great November record.

A lot of that because they're beating up Nebraska every year.

And Nebraska is kind of the opposite of that, right? Where it's like, They're not getting better by year's end.

Nebraska is back on the schedule.

2032 at Nebraska, 2033 at South Bend.

Can only imagine what the state of the sport will be in by then.

If you listen to the politicians, it'll be dead.

It will not be dead, but it will look different.

Um, you know, it's interesting.

You look at those schedules and I'll just read out the opponents now, or at least the non ACC opponents, 2032 at Florida, Clemson at Nebraska, uh, along with at Navy, at USC, and I will mention at Miami since that is a good opponent.

If all the strange talking points that we've had over the last week or offseason and really the first two games, the one that really strikes me as incredible because I don't know what gives here, Tom, and I've been scratching my head about this for some time.

Tony White was not devoid of some really highlight moments, both last year at Florida State and, of course, while at Nebraska.

Now, there were some really kind of ugly ducklings out there for Nebraska as well.

They played a game against UCLA that was inexplicable where they got boat raced and gave up a gazillion points.

I know Indiana put a huge number on them, but then again, Indiana put a huge number on a lot of people and surprised a lot of people that first year under Kurt Cignetti.

Notre Dame, I thought it was pretty significant.

this week that they scheduled a Nebraska series, not that it's Nebraska necessarily, but that they were able to get a late October series for those games.

I'm just wondering where you think, you know, cause a lot of fans are always saying, well, is this game ever going to get played of some of the future games and is Notre Dame going to have trouble scheduling power for teams outside of the ACC? I'm wondering your thoughts about scheduling and how significant that might've been.

I think it's really significant.

So having the flexibility to maybe move a power opponent later in the season in the midst of the ACC games, and then maybe you have another group of five team or whatever earlier in the season, that would definitely be better than playing every single season big you know non-acc power game back to back to back to back to start the year so i did think that was really interesting that it was in october i know the the auburn series was scheduled for later in the season as well obviously byu um kind of last minute being done it kind of indicates to me that um the truth of college football scheduling is that Other college football teams like money and this is going to be a guaranteed sellout and also the television networks are going to love it.

So as long as those things are true, people are going to keep scheduling Notre Dame no matter what month it is and probably made people of Aqua very happy that he was able to get that one out there.

And also, Eric, I you probably have have some recollections of some like Notre Dame Nebraska games, but I was very young the last time they did the home and home series in 2000 and 2001.

And looking at the history between the two schools, like really surprised that they hadn't played more.
