So it's time to have the discussion.

UCLA, can they repeat and beat 2024 Indiana? Not really.

And then start to have the time to have that discussion.

If we live in this fairytale world where UCLA's ranked, they have a ranked-unranked matchup at Oregon, that sets up UCLA in a firm discussion where you can compare where the Bruins compared to 2024 Indiana to 2026 UCLA.

Is there a world where the playoff is certainly upon us? And I am going to come out and say, no, that doesn't mean UCLA is not good enough.

They got a lot of resources there.

It's the guy at Georgia and the guy at Indiana.

Those are two sacred cows to me, which they feel like they're bigger than the program.

They made the program.

Kirby Smart made that program.

They are a juggernaut because of Kirby Smart.

Indiana clearly is a juggernaut because of Kurt Cignetti.

None of those other teams are juggernauts because of their head coach.

And we couldn't be more excited to be out there for our first football happy hour.

as we're looking forward to talking IU football with everybody.

And we're going to have a mixer there.

So, and I'm like, whoa, that's a big deal.

That feels notable, right? Then you go back, Indiana's Aiden Fisher, he gave an interview after last year's Peach Bowl when they beat up Oregon pretty bad.

And he said that the Hoosiers defense was able to key in on what Oregon was doing based on personnel.

And when you put a lot of successful stuff on film, of course, people are going to try to solve the riddle.

And when you're one of the best teams, they're going to do it, right? So the question is, is tipping plays a significant thing? And is this the cause of Oregon's loss? I want to point out that tipping plays is no different than sign stealing in baseball.

And UCLA has wins over San Diego State, where they dominated thoroughly, and then against Cal.

Now, you would offer that they turn the ball over a little too much, but still a good football team, and they deserve to be where they are.

And then here comes Indiana, the defending national champions.

They're looking so good.

I can see them repeating, really.

it could happen it definitely could happen it's hard to tell college football is sort of like crazy like i just started following it last year just because we do the podcast so i have to follow it usually i'm not a big i'm more nfl than i am college guy but you know just getting behind the nfl especially like all these sports college basketball i fucking love like i'd rather watch college basketball than nba but that's for you know a whole nother uh another podcast uh but yeah like Right now, I could see Indiana in that.

Ohio State, even though they lost, still dangerous.

I don't think it moves the needle at all in terms of his stock report, but nonetheless, in a big game, I would like to see Coleman come up with some big plays.

Charlie Becker, Indiana rolled over Howard, 55-0.

I keep bringing up Becker early in these because people seem to think it's Jeremiah Smith, tear break, Cam Coleman, tear break.

And I think Charlie Becker needs to get the respect that he's right there with Cam Coleman.

Charlie Becker this week recatches 81 yards, all of them for touchdowns.

He knows how to find the end zone, body control, ball skills, speed to get vertical.

He is a complete player for Indiana.

The best wide receiver performance from this week, and now this is two weeks in a row, KJ Duff needs to be high in your wide receiver ranks for the 2027 NFL Draft.

Yeah.

That's, um, yeah, you lose to Indiana, obviously lose to Miami, just lost to Texas.

Um, gosh, it's, it's, that one's fascinating.

This, uh, What'd you think about that Texas Ohio state game? Awesome.

He still has Notre Dame losing to Miami, so he's got Texas in the one seed.

Yep.

Miami two, Georgia three, Indiana four, uh, at the five is LSU and Notre Dame six, uh, YouTube audience could see there's the rest of his bracketology.

Is this something or nothing?

Obviously, for Oregon and Ohio State, the playoffs still very much within their reach because all they have to do is win the Big Ten, but obviously that's a problem because Indiana, the defending national champs, look the part of defending national champs so far this season as they are 2-0.

Yes, they've played cupcake teams, but the Hoosiers look good, and I think Cignetti's going to have them be the favorites in the Big Ten probably when conference play rolls around.

Number one team in the country, like I said, is Texas, who's now 2-0 after probably Steve Sarkeesian's best win as the Longhorns head coach over the Buckeyes.

Number two in the country, I want to say, is Georgia, who just rolled against inferior opponents.
