Scott SchraderPanelistUh, 31-23 out of Happy Valley, State College, USC silences Beaver Stadium in a amazing road win, a complete game performance on the road.
This is a bye week, but not a bye week for us because we still have work to do.
I don't think I'm out of line here saying that, Greg, you, you like to talk about Lincoln Riley and sort of the pressure he's under and, you know, uh, some of the criticisms he's been getting recently over the last few weeks.
So I ask you, after this 31 to 23 win over Penn State on the road, how are you feeling about Lincoln Riley getting it done for once in a big game away from the Coliseum?

I mean, he showed after the game that, you know, jumping up and down and apparently being quite vocal about it, and I think that's a good thing.

I mean, at least I'm not saying he wasn't aware of it, because I'm sure he is, uh, how much pressure is on him right now to get to those playoffs.

You know, I mean, uh, at, uh, and maybe at schools w- you know, I, I hate to mention schools.

Okay, Oregon State or some of the other schools that were in the Pac-10, Washington State, you know, as, you know, 8 and 4, uh, 9 and 3 is kind of a, you know, "Hey, go to a bowl game.

That's a good season." But honestly speaking, [laughs] I don't, I don't see it as arrogance or a, a aloofness.

And the bottom line is you have a quarterback who you've had now for a while at your quarterback position.

You know, maybe too much emphasis was placed on the t- uh, recruiting class of being number one.

Uh, it certainly deserved the, you know, the accolades that it got, but really, did you expect a number one high school, basically high school recruiting class to come in and, and, and be a big deal? I think the win at Penn State, the thing that I got out of it personally was that they didn't fold, they didn't crack.
