All-American Bowl

I mean-

Yeah

... back, back in the day.

He wants to go up against the best, even if it means he's gonna kick his butt.

But the next time he does, he's, he's gonna get his butt kicked less and less and less until he's starting to win those reps. Scott, we saw it at the All-American Bowl.

He wanted to get every rep he could against guys-

Yeah

And a reason why he jumped up, he's jumped up older offensive tackles already in Aaron Dunn and Elijah Vaikona to earn the opportunity to, you know, have his first career start in a whiteout game.

And I don't know if I've told this story before, but obviously I went down to the All-American Bowl.

I know this isn't Recruiting Pod, but I think it just speaks to who Vlad is.

And as Lincoln Riley said on Trojans Live, just competitively, he does not flinch at all.

And so I got to spend some time with him at the All-American Bowl.

You know, he wasn't the highest rated guy out there.

I think he was barely a four-star, but he just was one of the best performa- performers at, at the event.

He added Utah in September, and well, the Pitt Panthers came through with an offer recently as the Bearkat defensive back, who has two interceptions entering tonight's game, continues to add recruiting attention.

And speaking of recruiting attention, Tyrone Meeks, one of the top defensive linemen in the state of Texas, earned an All-American Bowl invitation, a big honor for him as his season continues to roll on.

There are more accolades, more offers, and much more recruiting news to follow.

Keep it locked on the Aledo Bearkats Recruiting Minute.

The other thing is he's still 18 years old.

I mean, I remember him at the Navy All-American Bowl, and it was, we measured him, 34-inch arms, 10 and a half inch hands.

I mean, this guy was built in a lab to get after the quarterback.

No doubt about it.

I mean, this is a kid that completed 72% of his passes.

I saw some Sam Howell in him.

I think if you also want, like, a, a storybook ending, um, Bo was a kid we had in the Navy All-American Bowl as an underclassman.

Remember he told me, uh, he was dating a Texas cheerleader at one point.

I am

... whether it's the All-American Bowl or-

Mm-hmm

... any, any of those types of games?

I'm really focused on Olympus.

So after the season ends, I'll be, whether if you can do speed stuff and preparing for the All-American Bowl, but, um, yeah, right now I'm in Olympus.

So this is a little bit of work stuff, but there you go.

There you go.

mean, was he a four-star? Borderline five-star? Was he a U.S.

Army All-American? Did he score two touchdowns in the All-American Bowl? Was he? Is he a top ten receiver in Tennessee history? I've never had a game like that.

That's not fair.

That

And this isn't the days of transfer portals where you can fill a roster with transfer portals.

And at the time, really, I played the All-American Bowl as a corner.

I was a good corner.

I wanted to be the next white corner that doesn't exist in the NFL is kind of what I wanted to do.
