It's Matt Campbell's first Big Ten win.

Cam Wallace ran for 135 yards at a touchdown.

Rocco Beck and Carson Hanson had 96 yards, and they both ran for touchdowns.

And they got their first win in Big Ten play.

Congratulations to Penn State head coach Matt Campbell and his team for doing that.

It is against Purdue late in the year when everyone's mad already, but they got the win.

They came off a bye week with a good plan, and they were able to execute it.

They have found something that works this week.

I think if we were to have this conversation in August, we would have said, yeah, you beat Purdue, congrats, who cares, whatever, move on, you should have.

But after this past month, John, this was an important win for this team to finally get one, right? Matt Campbell's first Big Ten victory.

But what you were saying, to your point, how Penn State won this game, the fact that there was a bi-week revelation in the running back room with Cam Wallace, who started the season as the fourth-string running back, comes out today, gets the start alongside Carson Hanson, because...

Cam Wallace came out as a fullback, so throwing that one out there for the Penn State old-school diehards with a fullback.

And I know this might sound crazy to say, because keep in mind, Penn State won this game today without Kobe Howard and without Chase Sowell.

And both of those guys were ruled out.

Matt Campbell said they're both close.

So, again, I don't think this is anything new that's developed with Sowell.

For the ones who get it done.
