EMERGENCY POD: Titans Trade DT Jeffery Simmons for a HAUL from Bears

Well...

I'm contractually obligated to say I'm doing well, doing well.

So I'll start there.

I mean, of course, the initial was shock.

Right.

I mean, anytime you I mean, listen, you're this bad.

You know, it's always possible.

Right.

Like you can you trade an aging, really good player for picks when you're this bad.

It's possible, but I'll tell you where I, not that anyone probably cares, but like where I was at my day, I didn't even have my, I always have my cell phone on me.

I was charging it right behind me.

So I wasn't looking at it.

I was putting a button on my second and final story of the day.

for Titan size that had nothing to do with Jeffrey Simmons.

I was finishing after already a really long work morning.

And I noticed I got tagged in Slack by someone.

And I said, oh, that usually means something.

So I grabbed my phone and the first thing I saw was the Tom Pilacero tweet.

I was like, whoa, okay, rip up my plan for the day and figure out where we go from here.

We've published a ton of articles on Titan Size, I think three or four of them, since the trade has happened.

We've got a mock draft coming later this afternoon that includes the Bears' picks.

Yeah, initial reaction was obviously shock.

I see both sides of the coin, right? And I think that's what we're going to discuss a lot of today.

Anytime you're 1-6 and you've got a 29-year-old star defensive player and you get this type of offer for him...

I'm not shocked that you accept the offer, right? I think there's one stat that really helps, or one fact, I should say.
