I think their defense might start a little bit slow and get better as the year goes on.

They also always, always under with Dan Campbell and with these weapons, this offense, Jahmyr Gibbs, Jared Goff, Jamison Williams, Aman Ra, and St.

Brown.

They score a ton of points.

Uh, Justin Herbert's gonna have a monster game on Sunday.

Since the start of 2022, when playing at home, Jared Goff averages 20.6 fantasy points per game.

He's averaging almost 280 passing yards a game, over two touchdown passes, and again, in week number one, the Lions playing the Saints at home, as I mentioned to Dave, they have the second-highest implied team total this week as well.

Speaking of at other side of the ball in that particular game, Tyler Shuck last year scored at least 17 fantasy points in seven of his nine starts.

Yeah.

Probably around a guy like Jared Goff or, uh, Brock Purdy perhaps.

Um, I think this definitely does impact him in terms of his ceiling because so much of what we were baking into Drake May's cost and his price in 2026 was this, this big jump in terms of having a wide receiver one, a real wide receiver number one for the first time in his career, um, and what that could mean for his own fantasy outlook.

So I do think this does play a role in, like, what we'd expect from Drake May.

[laughs] Um, and the, the Saints had n- really no pass rush last year and haven't added a lot either.

And you know if you don't pressure Jared Goff, things, things are gonna happen to you.

Uh, so yeah, just from a game state environment, like, this one kind of has everything you want.

I, tongue in cheek, uh, on the other show I did, like, you could build a whole lineup of this game and still have $27, uh, 2,700 left for a defense.

Mm-hmm.

So I wanna keep that in mind, and if I'm keeping that in mind, I think one of the more unique and high EV ways to attack it is to game stack this up.

Um, so something like Jared Goff plus Jahmyr Gibbs plus Amon-Ra St.

Brown is probably not going to fully reflect the expected ownership the, on those individual pieces.

I think this is going to be a, a Lions route, and it's gonna remind people, ah, the Saints still have some work to do.

Part of it's 'cause of their defense, but I absolutely see the Lions being the highest scoring team in the league, and Goff having one of those years where he throws a million touchdowns.

Yeah, just keep him clean and you're gonna be fine.

Yeah.

It's going to be all Jameer Gibbs.

Jared Goff, he should be solid 261 yards, two touchdowns projected for Jared Goff.

Amin Ra right here, wide receiver three is the projection on the week with Jamison Williams also projected to be a top 20 wide receiver, 13.7 points.

In this matchup, Olave said smash, got him projected as wide receiver five.

Like you have to be the one that's mentally okay with, you know, like if Josh Allen does great.

You know, because I feel like Jared Goff is going to do good like either way, like a smash matchup, you know.

So if you can handle if like Josh Allen throws down like four touchdowns, you know, somehow and like ends up having a great game outside of that.

Like, yeah, dude, start golf.
