I'm, I'm probably lower than consensus because I really do put a lot of stock into that, are you hitting some of these thresholds as a rookie, and he didn't.

But there's a lot of opportunity here, especially now with Josh Jacobs being down.

Maybe they're throwing.

He's another player who I'm getting a lot of questions about.

Now, given what happened with Josh Jacobs, and of course I talked about this yesterday on the podcast, I do expect Jacobs back at some point.

I-- That point is not this week.

So Marshawn Lloyd has a prime opportunity against the Minnesota Vikings to go out there and rack up some touches.

If I'm a Marshawn Lloyd manager, knowing full well, I-- right now, like, my baseline number, I expect six games for Josh Jacobs, which I'm not just pulling that out of my rear.

We don't, we don't want that.

[chuckles] That is the baseline number for domestic violence under the personal conduct policy, so any violation there.

So my objective would be to sell, sell, sell Marshawn Lloyd.

So we'll see.

Uh, but it's time for that offensive line to become solidified, and for Jordan Love to be this good, he's gonna have to have an offensive line that gives him time, and no Josh Jacobs, and a, to this point in time, a fragile MarShawn Lloyd, who has flashes and has shown flashes, but will they give him enough running room for him to actually get out into space along with, you know, the other guys that they have, so, um, a- and Caleb Johnson and Chris Brooks.

So it, it's to me, my number one focus is gonna be the offensive line.

If I had to take another look and say, "Okay, what else am I looking at?" I think I wanna see the upgraded linebacker position do more, the, uh, defensive front.

This year that's, that's not the case.

Like, he can't be meh.

He c- he can't be an afterthought, I think, and have this Packers offense excel and play as good as they need to, especially without Josh Jacobs.

So the, the, the context around Matthew Golden has just changed more this year, where if, if he doesn't produce, it's, it is going to be a big deal, where, you know, a lot of, a lot of instances last year where it really wasn't 'cause they just had so many other guys.

I mean, obviously we're gonna find out a lot, you know, on Sunday about who actually is, but right now there's some things that are still up in the air.

And, you know, some people question what, uh, Jordan Love and the offense can do in terms of the running game without Josh Jacobs or even in pass protection for Jordan Love against a Brian Flores disguised, you know, pass rush heavy defense.

Now, uh, Aaron Banks has had this knee, uh, situation through much of camp.

I really am failing to conceive of a game on Sunday that they win in spite of Jordan Love.

You know what I mean? [chuckles] Like, considering the guys they're missing and Josh Jacobs being out, like, I, I think if they win on Sunday, we're probably talking about a great Jordan Love performance.

W-wouldn't you think? Like, I-

Right

It's time.

It is time for Jordan Love, and the good news is the defection out of the backfield by Josh Jacobs for now via exempt list, soon to be via suspension, and maybe not back with the team at all this year, we'll see.

Kinda forces the hand of Matt LaFleur to say, "All right, you know what? We're gonna be more of a throwing team this year." You can hand it off to Caleb Johnson, you can hand it off to MarShawn Lloyd and Chris Brooks, and maybe Pierre Strong Jr.

in the weeks ahead.

It's gonna be so loud there.

Uh, Green Bay's offensive line and running game situation without Josh Jacobs terrifies me.

I'm going Packers-

I feel really good about that one.

The Josh Jacobs effect of not being out there forever long, this ends up being, I think is going to have a direct correlation with Tucker Kraft-Tutters.

Totally agree with Tosh on that.
