And they couldn't stop the run either, right? Like, I'm talking about the pass rush, but I equally want to talk about the run.

I did not see John Franklin Myers in this game either at all.

The Jets had a, I don't know, like, I don't want this to be hyperbole, whatever you say.

You got to get that run game going.

I'm with you, Kayla, because I think we would all agree that when they overhauled the roster this offseason, we all collectively said the defensive line those guys up front it's going to be the heart and soul of the team like if you told the fans hey during those open practices it's to the defensive line because you're going to get a treat watching those guys and the speed at which they play and those guys were neutralized today like i barely heard like you mentioned caitlyn simmons name wasn't said a ton on the broadcast at all john franklin myers either um and with the offense not sustaining drives and Brees Hall doing what he did or Braylon Allen or whoever, it allowed that defense to get gassed.

And when they had to hold up, they couldn't.

And so there is a huge, huge reason why the Jets kind of took control of that game.

I mean it, This defense, especially since that's Saul's calling card, I need to see that improve in the next three to four games.

But I'm not going to really base it on, if you didn't win that game, you're a trash team.

Hey, you know what, guys? When we went into this whole season, we knew, and like you said earlier, Kayla, that the defensive line was going to be a strength, right? I'm not going to throw that out the window and say that John Franklin Myers, Jeffrey Simmons, Jordan Elliott, any of these guys are trash.

I'm not going to say that.

Where was the pass rush of this fearsome D-line? We paid Jeff Simmons $100 million.

We paid John Franklin Myers $20 million.

We traded Devondre Sweat for Jermaine Johnson.

We traded up to get Keldrick Falk.

I would love to be proven wrong, but we'll see.

Because again, if they're going to be missing their second leading sack getter in Jonathan Cooper, they're going to be missing John Franklin Myers.

And again, they will have dominant guys to play against.

And we don't know exactly what we're going to get from a, is it going to be a 95% Cole Van Linden? Are we looking at 100% Cole Van Linden? He looked good today.
