But to be honest, the feeling I had leaving the theater is the feeling I also felt like I had once I started realizing how much money that it made.

oftentimes i forget how much i actually like spider-man i like spider-man quite a bit and i maybe you know what i think it is uh cog i don't think i've been necessarily loving recent spider-man comics so i feel like he's kind of been out of sight out of mind to me where i'm like i dig the character but i haven't really been read anything compelling lately regards to him but i'm not necessarily following amazing spider-man and stuff right so i'm just really really liking this idea that i mean i went in with like really really low expectations because also the mcu stuff has been a bit hit or miss lately and so in regards to his comics not necessarily being blockbuster and then you know another film of his other thing of full transparency i'm not the biggest tom holland spider-man guy i've never been a hater My opinion has been for up until this film that this is an excellent Spider-Man, but maybe not necessarily mine.

There's nothing wrong with realizing, hey, I've been bogarting this character for 30 years.

If there's a version of it that I don't necessarily dig, maybe other people deserve, you know, their version of the character.

So with all that in mind and my expectations low, I saw this film and I was kind of blown away.

At several points, I found myself questioning myself, like, is this my favorite Spider-Man film? And I am very hesitant, but I think it is.

And I understand how that may be hyperbole, and I don't expect either one of you guys to agree 100% with me.

It feels like finally, and I know this has been like a thing since the first movie.

It feels like we've been doing four movies of origin, right? Like four movies of now this is the Spider-Man that's ready to do the things that we want him to do.
