Marvel Cinematic Universe

I'm not entirely sure why.

You know, everyone always complains about Chris Evans and his, his post-Marvel choices, and I'm over here like, "Hemsworth, you know, he makes a lot of movies," but you look through some of those movies and he, he gives it his all.

I like "Rush," "Furiosa."

Mm-hmm.

All right, number six, after establishing their career on the Australian soap opera Home and Away, this person made their Hollywood debut in 2009's Star Trek, playing a parent of James T. Kirk.

Yeah, he'll then have a bigger career in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

We're talking about Thor.

We're talking about Chris Hemsworth.

... face.

But after Iron Man came out, after, after what the MCU has become-

Yeah, that's fair.

Okay

...

I think the MCU is a big factor into, into that.

If we're looking at the overall culture.

Yeah.

Absolutely phenomenal film.

But there's still a lot on the horizon for the Marvel fans.

Avengers Doomsday is around the corner.

Dune Part 3 is also coming out.

I just watched that with the kids.

We're getting caught up on the MCU, man.

What in the world? That's crazy.

Oh, that is not very shocking or surprising or meaningful to literally anybody else.

So let's start at the top though.

We are going to talk about some things that are happening over in the MCU.

No, not a bunch of Avengers Doomsday rumors.

You can go online and figure that all out.

But anyway, yeah, clearly this show is good.

We're clearly on point.

But no, it's the person playing Angel in the MCU is Asa German, who was in Gen V.

He played Sam Reardon, who was one of the heroes of Godoinkin, you know, Guardians of Godoinkin.

But that's sort of where we are as far as today is concerned, a lot of disparate.

And I don't mind that as much, you know, to bring Marvel into it just a little bit.

People have really said that the latest phases of Marvel are not great.

And I can agree with that to a certain extent.

I think there was a lot of like influx of we need to kind of push everything, all of our chips in right now because of this bubble that's happening.

But what I like when I like Marvel, it's because it's like you're walking into a comic shop and you can just pull a story off of the rack.

And you're like this, you know, right now I'm kind of interested in this story.

And this is what I'm going to read for a while.

Disney was trying that whole thing where everything connected to their MCU, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and this was something different, so maybe that...

Disney would not even let Spectacular Spider-Man have another fucking season.

They don't care about this goddamn thing at all.

Yeah, that's why I'm referencing, to be specific.

But I mean, to be fair, Phoebe's not wrong.

That essentially is Greyhawk in the MCU that we have currently.

I mean, they changed it a bit, but that's what they were going for.

And, you know, characters who just want to catch up with, you know, these two characters.

And obviously we're going to see these probably these two together, you know, more in the MCU.

with the Daredevil show and everything going on there.

And Punisher has been a lot more involved in the MCU as well.

So it's been great to see these two characters rolled into the MCU finally.

It's exciting.
