Frank Castle

What got to me more was the relationship with the others, the special police officer, uh, on the phone.

Frank Castle, I rarely laugh out loud in the cinema, but Frank in the Spidey mask at the hospital absolutely did it for me, and Ned and MJ, of course.

But one I haven't seen... uh, s- I didn't see coming, uh, was the Hulk.

The fact that he remembered him, the emotion in his face when he let go.

That was great when he won the belt.

Even the Punisher one.

The Punisher one was so good when he was a bad guy.

Oh man.

Um, I like Bernthal.

I like his Punisher enough.

I've always liked Punisher and Spider-Man in the comic.

Uh, so I just got a kick out of seeing ...

I think 12-year-old Mike came out, um, when Punisher and Hulk and Spidey are together.

It's a, it's a bloated movie, and do they need all that stuff? Of course not, but-

Uh, you know, Punisher sets out a trap first, he catches a spider and you're like, oh, that's not what I was trying to do.

Uh, but then he catches the Hulk and oh boy, it's on now.

Uh, yeah, so this is a blast.

You know what I mean? So this is, like, his first time on his own, but...

i like that it's more ground level i i was shocked at how well him and frank were together and i absolutely loved it like frank castle if you would have told me he was going to be my favorite part of the movie i would have never have believed you um and i just thought they were great together um i thought sadie sink was really good as gene but i think some of the choices of gene what what Gene was doing to people was a little bit like, okay, that's a choice.

But overall, I liked it and I enjoyed it.

I just am kind of baffled.

I remember, I think it was more closer to Spider-Man 2, there was a rumor that Thomas Jane was gonna show up as The Punisher.

So, and then there's a guy in the background who looks like Thomas Jane in one scene, and I don't know if it really ended up being Thomas Jane, but I always thought that was kind of cool.

But once they started announcing all these Marvel movies all over the place, everybody was excited that we were gonna have a Marvel universe, like a real Marvel universe.

But what else we got here, Lee?

There's a mention at one point in the article of a guy named Dick Buckley, who was a second unit director on the Sam Raimi Spider-Man film, arriving at the office and asking to be considered as the director for an upcoming Marvel movie.

Apparently, there were Punisher, Iron Fish, F- Iron Fish?

Hmm.

They're five-part miniseries to do with Mister Negative and Punisher.

I mean, the reason I used to love Spider-Man was because it was Spider-Man versus a villain, and now I gotta learn about Aunt May's dating life.

Number three, that's the Jonathan Hickman, Adam Kubert series with Spider-Man Hulk and Punisher.

Um, Star Trek last starship number 11.

I bring this up because I could get to say the word pen ultimate.

At number three, we have a book that's got Batman in the title.

So Batman, Bad Seeds, Gotham Central, number one from DC.

Marvel came in at four and five with Punisher number eight and Doom Quest number four.

I picked up Doom Quest.

Spider-Man Brand New Day was a pretty good movie.
