Inside the Trojans' Huddle: Biggest reasons for optimism in 2026 for USC football to reach playoffs

Mark? Before we transition, Chris, into the world of rainbows and gumdrops, because I didn't read all the comments, what were the fans' concerns about our concerns? What was the feedback?

Interesting.

There weren't that many.

Yeah, there weren't that many, but there was a lot of discussion going on.

But...

I will like to say, I tend to avoid the comments.

I've learned this over my years of doing YouTube and live stuff.

Do not read the comments.

But I did see one person that was kind of, did not like is not the way.

But they said, you shouldn't have been concerned about the skill players, Mark.

They were like, that's not even close to being a worry.

Yeah.

I should have complete confidence in true freshmen who have never played a down of college football.

I get it.

All right.

I

guess I'm just – I'm that far removed from the game.

I

think there was somebody who – was sort of in the same boat as me is like, I don't want to put all my eggs in the Gary Patterson basket.

We don't know what it is.

And I know there's some, we talked about it last week.

You know, we see the pedigree, we see the, the, the coaching talent, but again, has to be realized on the field.

And we'll see if that actually does.

Someone says I've never played football before.

That was, that was something that, that was another takeaway.
