Travis Dye

Oh, that's a pass happy college offense that Lincoln Riley runs, and you're gonna be back in pass protection the whole time getting abused by defensive linemen just coming up field against you because they know that you're a one-dimensional offense.

Now USC has much more balance offensively, and certainly we've seen more and more of the GT counter, which Lincoln Riley was known for coming out of Oklahoma, and we saw a little bit of it at USC, and certainly that first year, 2000, um, 22 year where you had, uh, Travis Dye, and you had a little bit more of a, a physical run game.

Even though I think, you know, in terms of the amount of rushes that they did, uh, weren't really enough to say that they were a balanced offense at that point.

And then you sort of had that two-year chasm where they just really kind of got away from running the football, and running the football with authority, and really running to, I guess, set some balance and to keep the defense offense.
