Three of the last four on the road, right? Texas hasn't won this game, this caliber of game, since going to Tuscaloosa, right? They just, quite frankly, have not.
CJ VogelHOST
13:53
You can point to Clemson, you can point to Arizona State in the College Football Playoff.
CJ VogelHOST
13:56
That's not Ohio State.
CJ VogelHOST
13:57
That's not a Georgia, right?

Yep.Let's see, we got some more super chats.
Blake MonroeHOST
79:32
We gotta get to this one from Spanish Steve.
Blake MonroeHOST
79:36
He says, "After watching the Miami game last night, do you guys think those wins, FCS, and stats should or shouldn't be taken into consideration when looking at the college football playoff?"
Jerry HamiltonHOST
79:46
What do you think?
Stephen A. SmithHOST
33:58
I don't give a damn about no 1-0 record.
Stephen A. SmithHOST
34:00
As far as I'm concerned, Michigan 0-1, because I think if they put themselves in a position where the College Football Playoff Committee even had a chance to look at them as a potential playoff team, they're gonna hold that performance against them.
Stephen A. SmithHOST
34:12
So I definitely think that.
Stephen A. SmithHOST
34:13
I wanna know, as a former star at Michigan, a Heisman Trophy winner at Michigan-
Matt FlynnHOST

Mm
Jacob HesterHOST

... for the College Football Playoff.
Jacob HesterHOST
26:49
And again, I know when you look at what Navy's done over the last, like, year or so, they won their opener against Towson, uh, 42 to 15.
Jacob HesterHOST
26:58
But let's go back to 2025, they have won their last, let's see, five games in a row.
Drake TollHOST
67:26
The, what removes the luster a bit for me, and maybe this is kind of the overarching college football take, both of these teams are going to the college football playoff.
Addie BatesPANELIST
67:33
Mm.
Drake TollHOST
67:34
It would be a dud of a season if neither of these teams, if one of these teams misses the CFP.
Drake TollHOST
67:40
It is a little sad that we don't have the feeling 17 years ago that we would have of, "Well, if you lose this game, you're done.
Drake TollHOST
67:47
The BCS is not going to honor you." It's a little sad that we don't have that.
Alejandro ZunigaCORRESPONDENT

Sooners go on to finish the season ten and three.
Alejandro ZunigaCORRESPONDENT
2:20
They make the College Football Playoff for the first time f- under Brent Venables, uh, losing in the first round to Alabama.
Alejandro ZunigaCORRESPONDENT
2:26
This year, arguably hopes for a better team, uh, at least on the field, but the schedule is real tough.
Alejandro ZunigaCORRESPONDENT
2:33
Uh, at Michigan, at Georgia, at Texas, all within the first half of the season.
Dave BiddleHOST
35:01
You know, they played in that Fiesta Bowl, you know, with Trestle and, Todd Beckman started, but like Terrell was a wide receiver and Colt McCoy completed like 90% of his passes, but that was a really good game.
Dave BiddleHOST
35:14
Then they played, of course, in the Cotton Bowl CFP semifinals with Scoop and Sawyer last year's opener.
Dave BiddleHOST
35:19
And now this has been a really good series that started in 2005.
Dave BiddleHOST
35:22
So last 21 years, it's been like almost like a little rivalry here between the Buckeyes and Ohio State going down to Texas and recruiting like they have certainly has helped the cause to ratchet up the rivalry a little bit.
Chapel FowlerGUEST
68:46
But at the same time, I can see why that kind of hurts perception, because as much as these teams want deep leagues with a lot of competitive bull bids.
Chapel FowlerGUEST
68:54
Probably at the end of the day, they want a few really good standout teams at the end of the day, so that way they're positioning those teams for a CFP appearance, and that's probably a bit of an issue for the ACC right now.
Luke NeerHOST
69:06
Super, super top-heavy or a little not top-heavy? Yeah, and if you're trying to be a two-bid league, which is the goal of the ACC, Louisville needed to beat Ole Miss.
Luke NeerHOST
69:18
And if that didn't happen, which obviously occurred, they've got to be a one-loss team the rest of the way.
Jackson BurkettHOST
11:43
bank? It's another discussion that's apparently over.
Jackson BurkettHOST
11:46
Would he guess betting them to make the CFP? I wonder what that number's at for now.
Tim McKernanHOST
11:52
Either day's fine.
Tim McKernanHOST
11:53
It don't matter, Doug.
Tim McKernanHOST
11:55
That's from Ken
Jackson BurkettHOST
11:56
Strode.
Jackson BurkettHOST
11:58
I'm trying to find out what their number is to make the CFP.
Tim McKernanHOST
12:02
Jackson, do you think our new quarterback is the truth? That's from Blue42SetPizzaHut.
Neal McCreadyHOST
8:09
Um, good for her.
Neal McCreadyHOST
8:11
Um, From a coaching standpoint, I have to think, especially if you have a team that has lofty goals, that having a game like Sunday for Ole Miss where you get punched in the mouth a lot, where you make mistakes that could have been and in some cases probably should have been fatal, if you will, but you survive and you win, at the end of the year, it's It's likely, it might even be highly probable that at the end of the year, if Ole Miss is in the CFP conversation, that a neutral site win over Louisville is like one of the big feathers in the cap.
Neal McCreadyHOST
8:57
It's probable if you look at Louisville's schedule.
Neal McCreadyHOST
9:00
Now, Ole Miss has a lot of work to do.
Jackson BurkettHOST
68:05
I see it.
speaker_14PANELIST
68:06
At least my school didn't peak off a win versus OSU, only to never reach a college football playoff ever, just like how Mizzou has zero Final Four appearances in basketball history.
speaker_14PANELIST
68:14
They'll never get there.
speaker_14PANELIST
68:16
Is that our clause? It was.
