It's like, dude, he was gone.

And I always felt it was the ego of Freeman and Chad Bowden like, oh, we're going to get this guy out of the deepest of the deep South.

And it's a different animal down there to try and get those guys.

You know, that's why they haven't had an old lineman five star come since Albert Simeon.

And I think Brady made a really good point.

They're going to have to fire that GM if they fire Lincoln Riley, even if he didn't come in under Lincoln Riley, and even if he came in to help the Lincoln Riley situation for the new regime, no serious head coach that you bring in for USC is going to want to inherit your GM, your hotshot GM position.

who has a good reputation or a bad reputation depending on who you ask so they have a lot of of buying out to do if they're going to get themselves out from under this and then turn around and hire a new coach that's going to try to forge a new program in a new direction but you see how quickly it can happen you you know about the signetti thing and usc is a much more established football program in the history of the world than indiana is probably opposite ends of the spectrum and then You see what happened at UCLA and what is happening with Bob Chesney and the test they have against Oregon this weekend.

And also, this kind of thinking is assuming that USC will lose those guys in the first place.

It's assuming that Chad Bowden will let those guys walk.

That NIL can't keep them in place.

That a new hire can't keep them in place.

Right, all, all of that stuff, or being with each other, knowing they are part of this incredible freshman class.

So that could lead to a lot of winning while at SC.

And for whatever reason, Lincoln Riley wasn't even really trying with some of the big names.

Chad Bowden comes in, and they've changed that.

And they're getting guys like a Tom Tom or whatever that – that Oregon wanted and they were going to go to Oregon and they're not anymore.

So this isn't a, they're not 14th for sure.

So...

On one hand, you have the fact that they're just not getting it done on the field, despite everything Lincoln's saying and how they're recruiting right now with Chad Bowden as the GM.

On the other hand, it is like a $72 million buyout.

That's a ton of money.
