I heard real estate was pricey there, but I've also heard that you have, like, $2 less than God, so if anyone can afford it, uh, it would be you.
A lot, uh, a lot less, uh, less, uh, warm than where a lot of people thought I would go in the afterlife-
... we, we did the thing where we had to leave our old house at a certain date because of-
And now our, speaking of, of the afterlife, our furniture and all of our possessions are in purgatory for a week.
... uh, I'm in the only room in the house that has a piece of actual furniture.
It's a, it's a dresser that my wife and I built for our children in their room.
this show, I don't know if you can see it, I'm doing the show in a, a, a, a, a Soccer parent lawn chair-
I just, I, I re- this does remind me though that I do now have a drink holder-
most of the time I use this chair is when I take it to the track at Saratoga, and as you can see, I just found this in the drink holder.
Uh, I love it when my stereotypes about you come to life, like when you're pulling out cigar bands from, like, [laughs] a fold-up chair.
I have a thing where, um, instead of throwing away trash, I will tend to put it in my pocket.
I don't know if it's just an aversion to trying to search out and find a trash can.
Uh, last night I had, uh, Kraft American singles cheese wrappers in my pocket.
It, it seems very sort of Great Depression [laughs] to me sometimes when this happens.
I was always told, 'cause I was adopted, and I was to- always told that adopted kids have a, have a sort of predisposition to hoarding things.
And if you have a look here in the basement of the house here and go into our furnace room, you'd be like, "Oh yeah, Marek was adopted."
Like, I'm just, like, tucking things in a, in a, in a, in a pant pocket all the time, and then like a couple-
... hoarding, is the hoarding I, I don't want to abandon these things, or is the hoarding-
And then you go on years and years later and through therapy and you learn adoption language and you weren't, you know, given up for adoption, someone made an adoption plan for you, et cetera.
I had one person say to me, um, that, uh, he believed that adopted pe- that adopted guys, um, weren't boob guys because they were never breastfed.
Because I've talked to plenty of people about being adopted, and a lot of them also adopted kids, and that was the wildest thing any adopted person said to me.
We were supposed to talk about, like, the Cale Makar contract, and now we're talking about...
