But Nikita Kucherov will be 34 before the 1st of July.

Is he going to be a $20 million player in year four, five, six of that contract It's 120 million bucks.

But one thing that I've been loving doing lately is kind of showing the all-time record against each other.

And this one's interesting because in the regular season, if you include the Atlanta Flames and Quebec Nordiques, not the Quebec Bulldogs or the Atlanta Thrashers, um calgary has 82 wins 73 regulation losses 20 ties and then eight ot or shootout losses so it's actually relatively close in terms of each team's record against each other unfortunately in the playoffs we've only played once um calgary has a one and four record with that one series in 2019 kind of the kale mccarr coming out party and uh nathan mckinnon taking over i was at game one which we won excellent game four nothing sammy bennett looked incredible and then we got absolutely smoked but uh Who knows? Maybe we can make that 83 wins tonight.

And against Colorado, Matt Coronado, I think, is probably the guy to look out for going into this one.

It's when you go up against these super speedy young Utah mammoth and sometimes the Montreal Canadiens and teams like that.

Even Colorado gave them headaches with the skating of Nathan McKinnon.

And guys that are super fast are blowing the Penguins away right now.

So they've got to find a way to speed bump those situations.

But you're not going there.

Connor McDavid is getting traded or, you know, Sid or Nathan McKinnon or a guy that, you know, you're going to lock in as your number one center.

So when you got like a team like Minnesota looking for this, is he better than maybe their top line center? Maybe.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing Dan Milstein's response to this Tampa Bay Lightning, I guess... statement that they put out tonight is going to be a tea time for us all uh watching on the outside looking in at the nikita kucherov situation situation that's not exactly the same as what's been going on with some of these team usa guys right he's a guy who's on an expiring deal he's a guy who's you know at the tail end of his career not the end but the tail end but he's still by and large you know one of the best players in the nhl he's up there with the Leon Dreisaitl, Connor McDavid, and Nathan McKinnon.

So it is interesting to see how this, or it will be interesting to see how this situation plays out.
