Yeah, and Greg Wyshynski had something yesterday where he's like there's a rumbling behind the scenes that Hellebuyck and the Jets front office had a handshake or a gentleman's agreement that if things, if they aren't competitive, he would be traded.

And it's like, okay, but they missed the playoffs once.

Yeah.

Connor Hellebuyck officially suspended by the organization as he failed to report to training camp.

And what's been making the rounds, I saw this from Greg Wyshynski on Twitter yesterday.

What's been making the rounds around the Jets and Connor Hellebuyck is that apparently there was a gentleman's agreement between Kevin, Kevin Cheveldayoff, the general manager, and Connor Hellebuyck that they, they would move the goaltender if the Jets weren't competitive.

And I think Greg was wondering and asking the question, it'd be interesting to hear Cheveldayoff kind of talk about that gentleman- apparent gentleman's agreement between the organization and the player.

That was partly on his request as well, and we tried to make that work, and we've been trying to make that work ever since.

So with that last answer, Greg Wyshynski threw that idea out on Twitter last night that there may have been an agreement between Hellebuck and Sheveldayoff that if the team isn't competitive, you will trade me to somewhere that is and I can move on from this franchise.

But you'll see you hear there that Sheveldayoff kind of refutes that shuts it down and the Winnipeg Jets have.

been competitive last year was a dip in the where they have been recently but the year before that they win the president's trophy they go to the second round of the playoffs Connor Hellebuck wins the heart and the Vesna that year and last year was obviously a step back but it's not like they weren't trying to win there was a better team on paper there than what they did on the ice I think there was a better team there So that's kind of just that answer.

You know, Ryan Leonard has, uh, got that extension, and a couple of kinda surprising extensions.

Also, our friend Greg Wyshynski has an NHL superstar player poll featuring a, a, a member or two of the Montreal Canadiens who have some interesting things to say.
