Check out Cam's latest novel / audio drama here! We've finally got Tristan back to investigate the tumultuous third season of House of the Dragon. Has the writing…
So we've got a structure for this episode.
As ever, we're going to do some impressions.
We're going to talk about this thing as a season of TV.
Then we'll talk about it as an adaptation.
And then we'll move through some major characters, talk about the arcs and performances.
But first let's do some impressions.
Tristan, let's start with you.
What did you think of season three? Uh,
Okay, well, first of all, I was trying to think about an actual actor to do an impression of at first, and then I just shat the bed.
I have nothing ready for that.
been too long.
Don't do Masaria.
Yeah, well, I
don't even know if she knows who she's doing an impression of.
Exactly.
But no, I had a varied opinion of the show throughout the season.
It started out as a continuation of season two, well, because the first two episodes literally were earmarked for season two.
And then as I went, I actually found myself caring a little less in terms of wanting it to be something super, super good and special and evocative of the original Game of Thrones.
And then as it went over, went along, I found myself actually just enjoying myself a little more.
So I would say that this was a much better impression by the end than I had of season two.
Interesting.
Not to be negative.
I fucking hated this season, man.
I thought it was so bad.
