You know, uh, there's nothing left behind by Ulf and Hugh.

So right there in Fire & Blood we're being told we probably don't have the full story with these guys.

What they did change, uh, very explicitly from Fire & Blood was the battle setup at Tumbleton, 'cause at Fire, in Fire & Blood- You have the overwhelming might of Ormund Hightower's army that is, is being built up throughout Fire & Blood, uh, kind of like Renly's army at the start of A Clash of Kings.

Mm-hmm.

This is the only place we're gonna, we're gonna stop Ormund.

And Ulf and Hugh were part of that defensive strategy.

And then so when they turned, they turned on Rhaenyra's army that was inside the town, and kind of sacked the town at the same time, and then were able to basically turn the town over to Ormund when he showed up, uh, with Daeron and Daeron's dragon as well.

Like, I am, at the end of the day, like, I am helping you guys out.

I could have not even showed up to the dragon training session thing where everyone else died except me and Hugh Hammer over there.

Yep.

And you guys would be SOL with this dragon that Moondance, or whatever dragon he...

Anyone who could claim a dragon and fly it for the queen would be granted lands, wealth, and titles.

It's a move born of pure desperation, and it leads us directly to a character who has been incredibly compelling to watch, Hugh Hammer.

The historical accounts point out something brilliant about his trajectory.

The lore details this horrific sequence where Vermithor, Tessarion, and Seasmoke all tear each other apart.

So he went and, you know, his guy's wife in Tumulton, and their family is assaulted and everything, and so he's brought in front of Ormond, and he plays the just... guy you know um but then behind the scenes it makes you know maybe more just to control darren and make sure that he's gonna do what he says to do makes him kill the um complainee the father of the family there um so kind of a big piece of trash i mean you just think he's just always had his eye on you know, at first I was like, what is his aim here? He just like for his family or something, he just feels wronged.

And then is it, well, then it's just, he's always had his eye and he sees the opportunity now to seize it.

Yeah, dude, there's no, again, there's no way AI can do, like they would write the Christian song and then that's it.

And if you're like, oh, well now sneak in a phrase about Hugh Hammer, it's like, you can't do it.

You know what I mean? Yeah, it's just,

and it's just like, you know, like I think that's also the differentiator why I'm able to grow with it, right? Because it has to be that good.

And then obviously I'll have the thing that I think is most impactful because it's still a strategy, right? Like what's most impactful.

That's going to make people stop and want to listen to.

And then after that, like, what are the parts that I think are just funny? And I thought that Hugh Hammer's wife bitching at him was a very relatable moment because Like, yo, I just got the fucking bronze fury.

We're going to take over all of Westeros.

He switches sides, so very, very cool betrayal by that guy.

Then we've got here- Kieran Bew playing Hugh Hammer, another dragon rider whose loyalties shift dangerously.

Then we've got Freddie Fox, who is playing Tywin Lannister, political and battlefield influences.

So again, with all the roles that are assigned in Season 3, very, very good.
