And then we have Aemon.

And Aegon leaves King's Landing with Larys Strong, who's like the biggest villain ever, I think, in the story.

I just do not like that guy.

He leaves King's Landing, basically leaves his throne behind.

It's like, well, maybe they were men of little means.

Maybe they were tempted by offers, and they mention, like, Littlefoot or Clubfoot because in the book, no one really knows what the... what, what Larys is up to.

Um, s- but there's this hint that, like, some sinister outside force bribed them, right? Um, and it's like, yeah, like, the...

All of that.

... that's exactly, that's exactly what Lord Strong looks like.

Yep.

[laughs] Oh, who would be the force ghost at the end of this season, though, looking over? You, you'd have like Harren the Black, [laughs] Lari- uh, uh, Lord Larys, and, uh...

I don't know, Alys, Alys? Do, do, does Alys sur- I, that's a, I...

There definitely, uh, definitely a lot left on the table for her.

And even, even if we're, if we're still, still talking about King's Landing, I always felt that our boy Larys Strong was lurking somewhere-

I think we need to see Larys the, the sower of chaos here at the finish line, you know? The most chaotic thing h- I think he really did in season three was giving, locking Otto away for the Blacks i-n case they ever took King's Landing back.

But we need, uh, you know...

It is a big question, where is Larys Strong gonna be? Because he's separated from, from Aegon.

Um, if I recall correctly, the next time he turns up in the book, it is in King's Landing.

Mm-hmm.

The other thing is, big difference from the book and the show, is that in the books as Rhaenyra is taking over King's Landing, we don't know what they're doing but there's this paragraph where like the Larys, the Clubfoot is busy, and he gets Jaehaera out of the ca- the castle.

He gets, uh, Ma- Maelor, who is the, uh, presumably the fetus inside Helaena's, uh, uh, body this season, gets him out and there's a thing, there's...

And, and, and all these other things.

You know, Aegon's gone and, you know, all this other stuff.

Um, but I like the fact that like, again, every...

Anytime you see Larys and Aegon, to say nothing of, uh, Tyland Lannister, this is nowhere in the books.

This is just like these people-

Yeah.

Um, and we see he's paired with, uh, uh, Larys there.

Yeah, who loves Alicent's feet.

Who's the feet guy.

He kinda makes you forget about Stannis so when he shows up at the Wall, you're kind of there with Jon like, "Robert?" And then you're like, "Oh yeah, we haven't seen Stannis and, uh, you know, his whole army for a little while." Um, it's kind of like the perfectly timed, like, reappearance, and I feel like that's how it was here.

And I feel like following Aegon and Larys, there was some comedic beats, there were some fun scenes, but for a while it also felt very inert, and they kept [laughs] kind of repeating the same plot beats.

A lot of it just being, wow, Aegon II sucks, and everyone likes to tell Aegon II that he sucks, including Aegon II.

Um, but Larys was kind of that tough love grandfather.

There were just kind of repetitive beats where Aegon didn't play along with their kind of like beggars on the road.

Like, he wouldn't supplicate himself, and it felt like they kind of hit the beat of him, like, refusing to do so too many times.

Um, when he theoretically should have been, you know, kind of off-screen being tortured by Ramsay, but because Alfie Allen was one of their main cast members signed to a contract, you, they couldn't really do that.

They must have figured out something with Bran in season five, I guess.
