Remember The Game? #383 - Mega Man 5

Our first blower this week is Big The Cat, who says, "If you could learn to be a game developer for any console, tell me about the game you would create." It's a long answer.

Uh, short answer, I would, [chuckles] I know it would make more sense to develop for one of the modern consoles, and everybody knows what a simp I am for the SNES.

I'm developing...

Ah, mm.

You know what? I was ready to say the SNES, and then just talk my way through, like, a Simpsons game or something, or a Turtles game.

That's what it was.

I was gonna make a, a new Turtles game for the SNES.

But you know what? You know what? On the, in light of this episode, Big The Cat, if I could be a game developer for any console, it would be the NES, and I would make new Mega Man games.

And it wouldn't be like, I love Mega Man 9.

Oh, I love Mega Man 9.

And I really like Mega Man 10, but I don't even mean, like, those.

I mean, like, Mega Man 1 through 6 with the slowdown, with fucking everything.

That's what I would m- I would just be a new m- I'd make new Mega Man games.

And it'd be like a, that'd just be, like, my little department at Capcom.

They'd put me in, like, the closet.

Like, remember The Office when they, uh, in the later seasons, when they make Ryan work in the closet between the two bathrooms? That's what my office would be, and I would just make new Mega Man games, and I'd be the happiest kid in the world.

That'd be fucking sick.

Oh, man.

I'd love to make a video game.

I wish I didn't suck at computers.

And I know you're gonna write in and be like, "You can learn." Eh, I'm too old to learn things.
