When Mega Man 9 came out, it was only digital, but they did this with the IM8 bit where it's an NES cartridge and an NES box.

The cartridge doesn't play on an NES.

And we kind of got that with Mega Man 9 because it had been since the Super Nintendo that we had seen, you know, or I guess technically was it the GameCube and such? Since the NES.

Well, no, because we had Mega Man 1 through 6 on the NES, and then we got 7 on the Super Nintendo, and then Mega Man 8 had...

Mike Bithell is Thomas Was Alone and Inti Creates.

I think that stretches the definition of indie studio a little bit because like Inti Creates, they did like Mega Man 9.

They get contracted by Capcom to do a lot of games in sort of the retro style.
