So, you know, best case scenario, it's like a Resident Evil 4 remake situation where they streamline the best parts of it and make it feel right.

Um, Exodus is looking like the Mass Effect that we're not getting from, from BioWare.

It's got Matthew McConaughey in it, although from what we can see, like, it seems like they've kinda backed off the McConaughey push.

Like, so I, I don't know how much he's in the game.

Um, but it's, it is very much a Mass Effect-like game come down to, like, you have choices you can make with characters and with which way the story goes.

You can build your character different, different ways.

you know essentially you know play xbox has gone a completely different model um it's it's open source it is a third party is a publisher basically right i mean okay make question marks around that whether they're they're kind of teasing us are they gonna fully u-turn or not but their next console is going to be a pc um so if you're playstation why do you like say you launch a new uh you know ps6 next year the year after Why do you need Spider-Man and Astro Bot and GT when you could just launch with, oh, here's the new GTA, the next gen GTA.

Here's whatever third party, here's Dawn Walker 2, here's Mass Effect 5. why why do they you do spider-man

because it's like the only first party thing that sells like a third party but yeah um chris from like uh from the perspective of a of a big playstation fan it's easy to see why they're phoning the samaritans over the past couple of years of playstation decisions because it feels like playstation are making xbox tier bad decisions but are not feeling the pinch from it the xbox seemingly like felt for all that time and is that just the case of as andy says they are the only game in town they are the third party machine your pals who don't play games don't even think about an xbox

i mean they're not feeling the pinch yet but these things are often like big ships like they take a long time to turn around like this is To Andy's point, when next-gen appears, that might be when you start to see the effects of this.

So, Mass Effect is never coming out.

It's I mean, yeah, I've kind of given up on Mass Effect, unfortunately, while back now.

I mean, I hope I can still hope, but just I I will be shocked if good things come from this merger.

I have yet to see that happen ever.

What I'm getting from Parsecs as well, you know, apart from the obvious, like, just pure autonomy of being able to just, you know, play a quick game in the evening when I don't have to, like, arrange loads of stuff with different people and move loads of stuff, I'm almost getting that feeling...

I wouldn't ever class myself as a big gamer in terms of computer games, video games, but I have dabbled, especially with games like Skyrim, Oblivion, Mass Effect, the big RPGs.

And I've not picked one of those up for at least five years since my daughter was born, for obvious reasons.

Yeah, they have a tendency of monopolizing your time, right?

One thing I do want to get back to is our Mass Effect playthrough.

the most prolific voice actors oh yeah there's we could spend all night just talking about all of her roles uh so having the biggest ones that come to mind

uh is obviously fem shepherd and uh naomi hunter of the metal gear series And she also did all the grunting and everything for Samus over the years too.

Yeah, so honored to have her there.

And, you know, you mentioned the Mass Effect role.

It's great that we don't just have FemShep, but we have Mark Muir, who has now suffered.

And, you know, Mass Effect's one of my favorite games of all time.

Which is Mass Effect Andromeda.

That kind of goes beyond my understanding of things.

What I can say from a gamer's perspective, from a fanboy perspective of Mass Effect and Bioware and stuff like that, I'm at this point, I'm kind of down for anything that lessens the chances that people are going to get fired and laid off and get games canceled.

I don't know if this does that, but it looks like there's a chance it could or not.

I don't know.

It's just, it's a game that's like too big to get into, at least for me now.

I wish, maybe I need to look up a guide or something of like, you know, quick tips to get started or something and start from scratch.

and try to get into it because I really want to, especially if they do another in seven day thing with Mass Effect so I can get or see the Normandy in there.

That'd be kind of cool.

okay big reaper vibes yeah um it feels like the quiet are maybe a thing that has existed before and will exist after but um cleans the slate um a uh universal vacuum if you will to restart uh it's like at the end of the night whenever i clean the bar uh to get ready for the next day it feels like that like i i don't know if the quiet are just a guy who wants to exist one day or are actively like a a continuous part of the cycle of the universe that would be The way how the Cielson have as much of an understanding or connection or close to as Hadrian, but they say like the Cielson must be destroyed in order for us to exist.
