I loved...

I, I don't know, somehow I got into, like, onto Limewire and fell into, like, neo-soul.

Hmm.

So I started writing, like, neo-soul songs.

And what I discovered in the success of Tencent was that it was allowed to be able to get time to monetize before there were any sizable competitors in the industry such that they eat their lunch.

And if you go back maybe just over just, uh, uh, 15 years ago, who remembers Limewire? I mean, the peer-to-peer sharing, um, the file sharing, uh, uh, company, which really never got to a point where it could monetize before the likes of Netflix or the likes of YouTube Music came in and ate their lunch.

Mm-hmm.

So right now, what I'm saying right now, I think right now the tech s- industry is in that monetization to monetization execution.

Uh, I was on the Gnutella, Nutella networks.

You know, before everybody was using Limewire, I was using Kazaa and Morpheus.

Uh, peer-to-peer stuff before torrents existed, right? And so because of that, I'd seen just about every single, quote-unquote, "9/11 truth film" that had been put together by that time.

Alex Jones's Road to Tyranny, uh, Hoffschmid had Painful Questions and Deceptions, the book/uh, DVD combo.

Those Kazaa files, or LimeWire, wasn't Kazaa.

Those LimeWire files were right on that PSP.

I definitely did that, but the big thing I did, and we can end on this, is I did that with my brothers at Xbox, and then I got my own Xbox on my own, and I have played a lot of college basketball or whatever game it even like did with conquering bad for a day too late registration so like you're hey are you just here it's like it's past visiting hours can you please give me these flowers it's just like uh i know way too much about this like i know every song album just because it's like i'm going to play i'm going to play halo now what's playing on the background oh uh uh kanye west all the time

Oh, boy.

But As it relates to me, I already had it, okay? Because I kept thinking like, damn, did I not hear the blueprint until after the whole 9-11 stuff started to die down? And that's not true.

2001, LimeWire, Napster's still around.

This is when we started to get all those blogs that would just upload albums before they released.

One of them was like my go-to and it eventually became Boxton.

Yeah, my mom worked third shift at the time, and so I would just set up, like, LimeWire or Kaza on the dial-up internet and just basically steal music and music videos and stuff like that all night.

So I woke up in the morning and went to go check the computer, and the connection had been interrupted, and I was mad.

Oh, dang it, somebody called or something, so...

I had no computer experience, like, at all prior to this.

Like, downloading MP3s on, like, LimeWire was, like, the extent of, like, my...

LimeWire, yeah! Exactly.

It was like the extent of like my computer usage, knowledge of the internet, any of that.

Yeah.

That's how I understood like the idea of like rendering something.

But then when the mouseover event with JavaScript, like at the end of the book in the class, like that's when the dynamic half of the internet clicked forward.

When I add something to a cart, what happens? When I click a button to download a song from LimeWire, like, I understood now, like, how that works.

We also, listen, I... remember buying video games on disk like computer games and xbox games and whatever and if it's a computer game you could download patches right like you would download like an update for this game or a bug fix or something right and it was only a matter of time before you could download a full video game i mean think back in like the late 90s with like napster we were downloading um music Not us personally, but I hear that people were illegally downloading music like Metallica.

And so, or like, and then you get later on, you get into like LimeWire and then you get into like BitTorrents and stuff, right? So then all of a sudden it was easy to share like...

I forgot what that movie was that got like leaked in like 2013.

It was some like big Hollywood movie and like some hackers put it out there and like people were downloading it before it hit the theaters.
