yes but when i recommended them before this was part of the 16 year gap between act two and act three act three just came out so the proto men what they do is they write basically megaman inspired fan fiction rock opera and the first album is all about proto man the birth and death of proto man and how megaman wants to avenge his brother but you learn that like he's Humans don't want to be saved.

They embrace the tyrannical Dr. Wily.

And so Proto Man tries to stop Mega Man from saving the humans who don't want to be saved.

He's like, hey, if the humans want to be saved, they got to do it themselves.

So I'm going to fight you, Mega Man, and you got to fight me if you want to save the humans.

And it's like this really cool brotherly fight that like this opposing philosophies where Mega Man's like, we can help humans.

And Proto Man's like, no, you can't.

Cause Don Lee, uh, who was going to be the lead pro tag in the now canceled, uh, because of the, the, the studio getting shut down, uh, gang of dragon game uh from the former yakuza lead dev uh don lee was gonna be the main protag in that and now it's now that game is never coming out we're not gonna see what negoshi uh had planned for that post uh leaving sega and uh rgg so we get to see don lee in this so that's at least nice that we do get to see don lee in a video game in some capacity once more uh but that was the xbox showcase the other one was the capcom spotlight uh where we didn't get to see too many games uh showed about and talked about uh but we did get a couple more details and they opened with more details for megaman duel override The game is...

You will have the choice to switch between Mega Man and Proto Man and play through all the stages as both of them.

Mega Man is a more balanced character to play as, while Proto Man will have more close-range-based attacks and movement.

There are going to be, instead of it being one stage with a Robot Master at the end of it, there are going to be three areas per stage with, I think, the Robot Master at the end of the third area.

There are going to be custom chips to utilize more power throughout the game.

Special weapons still drop from the bosses and apply to both Mega Man and Proto Man.

and then the override system they briefly showed which uh when you take enough damage you can activate it from what it seems it seems to be um um a rage mechanic uh for the player uh where they'll get stronger abilities and powers and take on a new look in the override form the game is still set for spring 2027 with no exact release date as of
