Mark GurmanHostSo our first question today is from Andy Hoffman, and it's about the future of Apple's laptop offerings.

Ooh, Andrew, you want to hit that first? Yeah, I mean, in my opinion, I don't think so.

I think, and I don't know, obviously, this person personally who asked the question, but I think a lot of times it feels like people who are into tech or just Apple in general feel I think things are so confusing for the average person who walks into an Apple store.

So it's really, do you want, like, good, better, best? And then better and best come in two sizes.

Which one do you want, the big one or the small one? It's not that hard to figure out.

So I guess, though, a question as you're about to answer this is, Since they named this event Pro Intel, does that mean that what we're getting is just a replacement for the current MacBook Pro as opposed to something like, you know, an additional line called the MacBook Ultra?

Yeah, so this new touchscreen MacBook Pro is going to come in on top of the current MacBook Pros.

This new MacBook Pro is going to come in above that at a much higher premium because of the OLED and the touchscreen.

So we're going to have two basically... versions of a MacBook Pro, almost like a Pro and Pro Max.

Well, it's really three, right? It's really three because you have the base 14-inch MacBook Pro, which is getting M6.

That's going to have the touch and the OLED, the dynamic island, lighter, you know, updated ID, et cetera.

I actually think the more confusing part is what's long existed, which is having this non-Pro, non-Max chip, low-end 14-inch MacBook Pro, and then these Pro and Max versions.
