iPad Pro

I don't know that the OLED screen is going to do a lot more other than, you know, just be OLED.

Although I do have to say I have the M4 iPad pro and it does have like the best screen I have, you know, it's awesome.

But yeah, Yeah, I just...

I'm not seeing it.

No, I like that.

And I thought about that, that it's really going to be one system board.

And, you know, having it be a MacBook Pro and an iPad Pro is what makes the most sense.

Because you're going to be running, well, it's got one M6 Apple silicon chip in it.

The new iPad Mini has nano texture.

The same thing found on the iPad Pro.

So the iPad Pro...

The most recent one, I believe it came out last year, so the new iPad Pro is a year old, the M5 iPad Pro.

It has nano texture.

The new iPad Mini also has nano texture.

Unfortunately, it doesn't have 120 hertz ProMotion.

so a lot of people are going to be disappointed with the new ipad mini on that regard however they're going to be happy because it has nano texture and it has an oled display Nano texture is a feature on the iPad Pro.

Sometimes it feels like it's iPhone Air.

If we talk about iPhone Air or iPad Pro, they're the thinnest Apple devices, right? iPhone Duo now being the thinnest iPhone ever.

It feels like it should be the least durable, yet Apple ends up being and doing devices that they're thinner, but extremely durable, which is just insane.

Yeah, and that goes apart with the design, right? And the selection of materials and everything that goes into the construction of it.

And I think the reason that that stood out in my mind is because that is a learned behavior from how I use my iPad.

Because when I'm on the iPad, basically I might work on a video in November to talk a bit more about this because I think it's kind of prescient now that the Duo is out and I'm seeing comments like, iPhone fold makes no sense when you can get an iPhone Pro and an iPad for the same amount of money I've had a lot of those same thoughts and I've more recently been really getting back into using my 11 inch iPad Pro the thing that got me back on it was taking it off the keyboard case I'm not I'm like I'm not gonna try to make this a laptop let's go back to I'm calling it iPad fundamentalism we're going back to basics Only doing stuff that Steve Jobs would have approved of on the first gen iPad.

So I'm doing basically just what I normally do on an iPhone, email, web browsing, Facebook marketplace, Twitter, TikTok, all the usual phone brain rotting stuff.

I just do on an iPad because it's a nice big screen.

And the issue is there, when I get a text message, I'm not gonna thumb type on an iPad Pro.

In a pinch, if I need a quick response, I'll do it, but it's not something I'm gonna do regularly.

So I usually set the iPad down, pick up my phone, boop-a-doop-a-doop, send off the text, go back to the iPad.

Sleeker, lighter, updated chip.

MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, Vision Pro.

Is that what you think? There's your Pro Intel.

What else have they got? They've got no other Pro.

A full redesign.

All you need to do is just do a Mini version of the iPad Pro.

Yeah.

And I'm a big iPad person on top of that.

I use the large iPad Pro.

So one of the things that I made a point of doing, because I'm reviewing this product and I really want to understand it, is I basically stopped using my iPad.

And I have been using this instead of my iPad.

And that's why I think it's the best fit for, not necessarily for everybody, but I think for the people who love it, that's why they love it.

Because I had always felt that way.

And then I started making this argument for the 11-inch iPad Pro because the screen is so good.

That OLED display is so incredible.

You never know what you've got until it's gone, you know.

And I definitely – I want to say, too, I try doing everything from my iPad Pro, which is what I use to record the podcast.

But I do all my, like – I run the music and I run the websites and things like that through my PC because why not? It's way easier to do it on an iPad and much more reliable.

I leave my PC on 24-7 too so it's much more reliable.
