The other trick that made the rounds, I think, on Reddit over the last week is that one thing you should do to ease the transition to Touch ID is you want to add the bottom of your index finger to Touch ID because when you're holding the phone naturally, like how I hold a phone, which is with my pinky at the bottom, my hand wrapped around the other side, that inner bottom part of my index finger naturally rests against the touch ID sensor.
