The company said international technical standards are necessary to develop AI safely.

The company said international technical standards are necessary to develop AI safely.

They're almost here.

They've got OLED touchscreens on all of them except the Dell model, 16 gigs of RAM or more, and Intel or Snapdragon chips, with prices starting at $900 for the Acer Google Book 14, bumping up to $1,200 for Dell's XPS Google Book, and topping out at $1,300 for the other three.

It's more premium than your average Chromebook.

Because they're not Chromebooks.

Beta testers say most of these issues were reported during the beta, and some say Apple hasn't responded to a bug report since Tahoe in 2025.

[laughs] To be fair, plenty of people claim the new update runs fine, and this is the first Apple Silicon-only macOS.

So maybe the team was busy cleaning out all that leftover Intel code.

Ah, it's coarse.

What we're seeing from AMD is, I wouldn't say a change in business.

I think approach has changed where they were CPU, GPU dependent, and they've completely, completely taken the market away from Intel in the CPU market.

Tested the GPU market a little bit.

Obviously, NVIDIA has reigned dominance in it, but they did have market share.

You know what I'm saying? Just from buying and holding.

But if I just would have flipped... and just bought and sold Nvidia for like a .50, not .50, for a 50% gain, then like, what are we talking about? So I trade the companies that I'm like, I like a lot, but I don't know if I want to hold them forever.

Like, perfect example, Intel.

When Intel hit like $89, man, I bought a bunch of shares and I just sold them today.

The index jumped 2.26%, while the S&P 500 gained 1.49%, and the Dow rose 0.71%.

Intel surged more than 12%, and ARM Holdings gained 17%.

Advanced micro-devices jumped about 10%, reaching a market value of US$1 trillion for the first time.

Meta climbed more than 11%.

And in fact, with AMD up 10%, it's the first time that stock is now above $1 trillion in market cap.

Intel was up 12.1% and ARM was up 17.2%.

Macro factors that had been headwinds also steadied a little bit overnight, particularly the Brent oil price, which fell back to about $100 a barrel.

There were two factors, broadly speaking, which helped the oil price leg lower.

And that's because server CPUs, the general purpose chips to coordinate the data center workloads out there.

And AMD has guided to a server CPU addressable market expanding by roughly 50% by 2030.

Intel's CEO, Lip Bhutan said last week that a company can only meet about 50% of customer demands.

So it seems like there's a lot of demand for server CPU out there.
