Had Marcus seemed distracted on our Saturday morning call? Had he even mentioned going out? I decided to push further, eyes wide open for the first time.

I started by peeking at our shared iCloud calendar, hoping for a lead.

There it was, still the normal work blocks, color-coded with office or meeting.

But embedded in each week, a few strange, private hours labeled simply hold or personal, marked as off-grid.

kind of like the ability of these systems to be universally useful.

And kind of the consumer experience with technology is going to be increasingly driven by how easily plug-in-able is that technology into the AI agents that are running And I already say like, so what do they use Grokbot for? Basically to extract myself out of iCloud into Google Drive, because that has a better set of connectors with both OpenAI and Grok.

And so, you know, the fact that the only way to get to that iCloud information is Grokbot.

Whenever Apple releases it, which will be who knows how many years from now, some connector that they're sanitized approved version of getting access to that information, that's going to be too late in AI space.

And so I do think like the watch is a compelling product.

They hacked everything.

They got into my iCloud.

They got into every single corner of my digital life, and they dumped it all on the internet.

And what happened was is that I was already clean and sober, but if you show a picture of someone in a motel room smoking crack, uh, you know, with women every, you know, every other day in the New York Post-

From Snapchat, police obtained the data from August 1st through a week after their deaths.

From Apple, they obtained each victim's iCloud account information over the same period.

From Meta, police received Facebook and Instagram account information from August to November for the four victims plus three other people whose names were redacted.

Several other search warrants from November to January, including to Apple, Google, AT&T, and Verizon, offer no information at all.

Apple's September event has now taken place, and unfortunately, there was no new hardware.

Apple has also confirmed the iCloud Plus requirements for its new Apple Intelligence camera features, and I've got a quick roundup of some of the best Apple Home devices I saw at Ether.

Let's get straight into it.

Apple's September event has been and gone, and despite all the rumours leading up to it, we didn't get any new Apple hardware.

Apple has already launched products later in the year before, and we could still see announcements October or beyond.

For now, though, the wait is still on for the next generation of Apple-owned hardware.

Next up, Apple has now confirmed the iCloud Plus plan you'll need to use for the Apple Intelligence camera features.

With the 2TB plan, you can use Apple Intelligence features with just one camera.

Took into effect the end of August, but existing subscribers, like the Sherman household, got a month's notice before we were charged the new prices.

We bundled this all into this thing called Apple One, so you get Apple TV, you get Apple Music, you get some additional iCloud storage.

I think that price now went up by two bucks, too, from $19.95 to $21.95, like a whole lot of other services, Peacock, Amazon Prime, Netflix, even YouTube Premium.

They've all increased their prices this year and over the past two years.

I just hope and pray every day that there will be some sign.

On August 25, 2015, Jocelyn Combré, who runs the Facebook page Missing Jeremiah Foucault, posted, All known activity including last phone call, financial activity, employment presence, vehicle use, iCloud use, bus pass use, even a visual by surveillance of the parking lot, ATM and apartment complex, all activity ended by midnight the morning of Wednesday, July 22, 2015.

On the day that he disappeared, for whatever reason, Jeremiah did not use his bus pass.

Viewers on Reddit have speculated that the person seen in the bus station is Jeremiah and speculate that the ticket system was down and therefore his pass would have not registered any activity.

These weren't very rosy posts.

In one of these posts, an employee said that Muse was asked to identify toys in some birthday party photos, and it bypassed its own safeguards and said, exposed private iCloud photos that it had no business touching.

Now, separately, an employee testing Muse to track fast-selling tickets and inventory for an event ran into what was described as, quote, many failure modes that made it unreliable.

And even Meta's own CTO, Andrew Bosworth, said he kept getting logged out mid-task.

And yeah, we have many more cool projects and many more episodes to come.
