Just when you think you've heard everything-

... along comes a case that kind of defies the standard patterns that we, we think we know.

Uh, I think high strangeness is part and parcel of this subject and I, I think sometimes intentional.

I think it's, the ETs are doing this to sort of encourage us to consider new paradigms, new ideas, new ways of thinking.

So yeah, I, I love ex- finding these really unusual patterns, really unusual categories of cases, ones that perhaps people haven't heard before.

So that's what that whole series is about.

Well, before we jump into the series, I wanna get your take on the latest releases from the government, and what are your thoughts about those?

I'm of two minds about it.

I'm a bit on the fence, and I'm really excited to see them because this is movement.

These are files that were formerly classified.

And I think for those who are new to the field, it's humongous.

I mean, it's unprecedented.

But for those of us who are kind of old hands at this, there's really not a whole lot in there that's what I would call earthshaking or revelatory.

Uh, and having been in this field for a long time and knowing how much evidence our governments, and I use that term loosely, governments, are sitting on, it was disappointing because some of these films in particular were not that great.

And there was a few in there, I'm like, "Well, that's birds." I mean, you can clearly see [laughs] or this is a balloon, and this is just a blurry dot, kind of you...

There's, a lot of it is redacted in terms of the metrics of what's being taken.

Some are just completely out of context, so we don't know who's the witness, where it is, really anything about it.

So it's not particularly useful, and I know they have much, much better footage.

There's better footage in the public arena.

So I'm disappointed.

I'm hoping that future releases bring better quality films and, um, files.

I haven't gone through all the files yet 'cause there's quite a bit of them, but ultimately I was disappointed.
