He seemed to be gathering more and more followers all the time, and so I wanted him neutralized, uh, by prosecuting him and jailing him, uh, hopefully for life.

News outlets found the Blind Sheikh irresistible, with his red fez and Ray-Bans and clamorous followers.

They wanted to know, was he a jihadist whose orders ricocheted around the world, or a misunderstood religious scholar living in a humble Jersey City apartment? When the Blind Sheikh called a press conference after the World Trade Center bombing, more than 50 reporters jammed into his bare living room.

A reporter then asked the sheikh point-blank, "Were you part of the World Trade Center plot?" He denied it, of course.

I mean, the other kind of reported product that it made me think of is, you know, the, the smart glasses that, that Apple is supposed to be working on.

And, you know, there's been reporting from Bloomberg that, you know, that that's been pushed back a bit because Apple is trying to figure out, like- Given that, again, you know, I think Meta's, like, Ray-Bans are both popular, but there's also, like, very, very significant backlash to them.

There's sort of this nickname that they're pervert glasses.

And so how can Apple do that in a way while still pitching itself as a privacy-centric company? And I think, I mean, again, th- these products are not identical, but, um, uh, very far from it.

Wild.

You know who will line up for 24 hours for those? Anyone with those creepy meta Ray-Ban glasses.

Oh yeah, wow.

And what you do is you find people from different nations.

You go, hey, we're gonna be doing an event where we just kind of, track how people's experiences were during this event everybody wear these meta whatever Ray-Ban glasses and just always have them recording and later we'll you know we'll let you know and so people just go live their lives out you know they get paid to do it or whatever and so they're just living their lives and And then they just return the glasses with all the footage.

And then you just do a documentary on people's experiences at the World Cup.

It's a very personal, intimate experience.

There's an old John Carpenter film called They Live.

Basically, the premise behind it is that there are, a bit like one of the MAGA conspiracies nowadays, there are lizard people that are aliens that are running the world and And you can't actually see them unless you wear these special kind of Ray-Ban sunglasses.

The protagonist in the film puts these sunglasses on and suddenly he's looking at all the billboards and it just says, eat more sugar, multiply, be compliant and all the rest of it.

Once he'd seen it, he couldn't unsee it sort of thing.

By the way, my head moves in my videos.

That's one of the things I've heard a lot about Ray-Bans overheating.

I don't know if it's the ones I have, but they overheat very well.

I have to be in the attic for 15 minutes for them to overheat in a Florida attic.

You just take it off and put it through.

I've got my Ray-Ban glasses.

I've got a battery.

These are all critical things when I travel.

And I feel like a lot of... creators and restaurants need these people to kind of blow that.

And like a big shtick of it was going to businesses that weren't making a lot of money and going in there and being like, I'm going to help this small business with my Ray-Bans.

I'm going to be the hero.

I'm going to be a hero, which I don't think she does explicitly, but I think it is kind of that genre of content.

I believe they call it reclaimed plastic, which I think translates to ocean plastic, but don't quote me on that.

And so I've got like a tortoise shell front, um, kind of rate squared off Ray-Ban style, uh, um shape and then wood sides and these thing and with spring hinges and stuff everything on a sesame seed bun but it gives me the the look and feel that i had with my old lenses um and it was reasonably priced and stuff and of course i got a you know souvenir because i you know how i like to travel dan i like i like getting clothes and stuff that i cannot get on this continent while i'm abroad
