Fake Trailers | Generation X Gaming #484

So, or I'm sorry, X. How's it going, Sarge?

I mean...

The more I watch these videos each and every week before we get to the Thursday show, it's fucking depressing.

I got to be honest.

It's just fucking depressing.

What videos? What videos?

I watch all the news stories.

I watch all the news stories of what's happening.

I have like four or five guys that I watch, and then whenever they pull up some news, I try to find out where they got the news article from, and I go to that site, and I'm bouncing around.

It's just fucking depressing.

The overall feeling between the media and the industry is fuck you, pay me.

It's just fuck you, pay me.

So you've been a gamer for X number of years.

You have a system, whatever else.

That's great.

But anybody who wants to be involved now, it's fuck you, pay me.

That's basically what it is.

And at this point, I really am ready to watch them burn.

I'll be honest with you.

Because I don't think it's going to be like what everyone thinks it would be like if the industry crashes and burns.

Because what would actually happen is you would get rid of all the suits and middle management the fuck out of here.

Right.

And it would go back down to guys making games on independent sites.

And since it's all digital, they don't have to worry about... transportation or anything.

And so independent guys would just find the independent storefronts or use Steam and then just sell the games.
