Sam Witwer

I think there's a lot of mythological stuff that is going on here.

And, you know, all the years that we've heard Sam Witwer talk about what the mental state that Maul was in in these episodes has aided to my perception of watching it in 2026, right? I feel like it just makes it greater.

Yeah.

And I feel like the journey that we've seen Maul go on of a man who's obsessed with revenge, but then also who has so much cunning and is so smart.

If he hadn't changed in the past 10 years, it would have been just as strange, if not more.

The only thing I really disliked about Maul in this series is his voice.

Sam Witwer is great at capturing personality, but all his characters sound alike.

No matter how well he pulled off the speech patterns, he still sounded like the son to me.

It's got one of our favorite television actors in it.

Sam Witwer.

Sam Witwer was a vampire.

There was another lady who I don't know her name.

She was a ghost.

I've never heard of anyone meeting someone in the Star Wars cast who didn't have an experience like that.

I got to meet Sam Witwer in Chicago as well.

And as a voice actor myself, obviously on a whole different scale from these guys, but as a a burgeoning voice actor.

I know some of them on site.

And I think the voice actors get to walk around freely a little bit more than, you know, Hayden Christensen can't go strolling down the aisle at a celebration, but Sam Witwer can.

And I said, excuse me, Mr. Witwer.

And he said, oh, you can call me Sam.

Yes.

For those video game lovers, Sam Witwer, who played Starkiller in Force Awakens and is like a big Star Wars guy.

He's in The Voice for Darth Maul.

Yeah, he's one of the military guys.

I won't dox myself, but it's the best 7-Eleven in the San Fernando Valley.

And I walk in, and checking out the cash register is Sam Witwer.

So you and I both worked with Witwer.

We've been around Sam.

It was kind of a crowded 7-Eleven.

and he was, you know, sweatpants.

He looks like Sam Witwer.

You know, that's the guy.

So go take it out on the galaxy and carve paths of destruction.

I mean, if someone has to show up in a Vader film, let it be Sam Witwer.

Okay.

A little Starkiller action.

should not be present unless Vader is literally there just to murder them

again.

To be fair, if anybody needs to actually have his dues in a Star Wars live action film, it should be Sam Witwer.

He should be there in a prominent role, either as Starkiller or some sort of more.

I'm curious as to who they'll get to play.

We know Sam Witwer is a big D&D fan.

That's...

My guess is that he will at least be playing a character, maybe running it, but he and I think his brother have written multiple D&D books.

Uh, cast is Sam Witwer as Hank, José Pablo Cantillo plays Dutch, Ben Woolf is Rusty Rex, and John Landis is Jebidiah Rex.
