And these, the reason why the PlayStation 5 is effing great is because it's engineered to be a game-playing machine.

The original game is most reliably played on a legacy PlayStation 2, Xbox or PC with a physical copy.

The 2024 remake is sold for PlayStation 5, Xbox and Windows PC through Steam and Epic Game Store.

The PlayStation VR game that, you know, now, like, you know, Astro Bot, the PlayStation 5 game, has sort of, like, totally eclipsed it.

But Astro Bot Rescue Mission rocks.

And the way it uses VR is... unlike basically any other uh game they just made a great platformer um where you control the camera with your head yeah basically uh and it rules so that's that's a smart win um 2020 baba is you uh which i think is another like very cool kind of way yeah i'm familiar with that indie game um 2021 is Mario Kart Live Home Circuit.

So let me go ahead and chime in with one of my predictions here.

I think, and this is more of a bleak one, unfortunately, but I think that either Media Molecule or Ben Studio will be closed down before the end of the PS5 generation.

The operative term here is

wishy-washy.

So I'm going to start with you, Pablo.

What's your first PS6 prediction?

Yeah, despite growing concerns about pricing of RAM, SSDs, power supplies, etc., Sony will be eager to put the PS5 behind them and will launch the console in late 2027.

They just want to get the stink off at this point.

For example, Sony was one of the bigger ones.

They confirmed in their own statement that all those hands-on demos and streaming events that they planned for the PlayStation boot that would have taken place on September 21st They just wouldn't go ahead at all with it and not move online with any of the stuff.

So I assume that means that they're going to.

take charge of whatever announcements they may have had, which I don't know if there was any major announcements, but I assume that they will just handle those at a future date, I'm guessing.

performing and i guess there was a big thing with um with the with the sag strikes the sag actor what was it called the screen actors guild strikes from you know a few years ago had apparently put things on hold for od for a while but now that that's been resolved everything's been going smoothly but that's about all the info we got but it was exciting nonetheless right uh and last bit so something that came out of the tokyo game show uh was from Konami, actually, saying that on October 1st, there will be a demo that gets released for Castlevania Belmont's Curse.

All platforms are going to get this.

So that's PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch.

Sadly, no Nintendo Switch 2 version yet announced.

damn it you see we did that we did that and we got we got hated for it Yeah, it'd be Don Matrix, I'm not that bothered.

But the real kicker behind this is that there is absolutely zero evidence that Sony have ever done anything similar with their discs, PS4 and PS5, which means they wouldn't even be able to replicate this feature, like Positron, at all.

Now...

You can say what you want about physical versus digital and how that's being handled right now, but any way that I get to access my games because I know I have them is a good thing.

I disagree.

I saw an image of Nintendo Switch 2 exclusives that have come out so far versus Sony's PS5, and you're like, just Florida, how many Switch 2 exclusives there are? I just think Nintendo runs a better shop at making games for cost-effective means and just sits on them and puts them out when they want to

put them

out.

Well, well since, since I'm toying with coming out of retirement, um, maybe, you know, like, we can, like, work something out.

I can loan you the PS5, and when Ocarina of Time comes out, you can loan me the Switch, and then we can just go back and forth.
