From Lupin's return to a bloody culinary apocalypse: The TV shows to watch this month

Now, we're starting with the hit TV series Girls, which is getting a revival.

Yeah, that's right.

The series about four women navigating life and love in New York City was dubbed the millennial answer to, uh, Sex and the City when it was first released.

It celebrated female sexuality.

It embraced body positivity.

It also launched the careers of its four main characters, Lena Dunham, Allison Williams, Zosia Mamet, and Jemima Kirke, as well as, of course, Adam Driver, ironically the most famous of them all in a series about women.

Uh, the revival will be, for the moment, five episodes only.

It will presumably pick up with the four of them navigating their 40s.

Uh, take a look at this typically awkward interaction between the cast members in this teaser that was dropped.

Is it, is it something that you would wanna do again? Are you, are you free next summer?

I mean, as long as it's not too much of a commitment.

I'm not doing, like, a year.

Yeah, summer's, one summer's worth.

I can't tell what I'm hearing right now, so I'm just gonna ask.

Are you in?

I'm in.

I'm in.

I'm in.

What's up, ladies?

Hi.

What are we doing next summer?

Gir- girls.

Would you wanna do Girls again next summer?

I'm in.

I have a question, though.
