Ocean's Eleven

So in this chapter, we are introduced to a ragtag team of conspirators who are working to take down our boy and our messiah, Emperor Paul Muad'Dib Atreides.

So you might ask, hey, who's in this ragtag team? If this was Ocean's Eleven, who's in the

cast? Yeah.

Well, we start off with Bene Gesserit Reverend Mother and ex-truthsayer, guys, Helen Moham.

I really gave her the Khaleesi treatment there.

Yeah.

And one last person is in our Ocean's Eleven crew.

It's Edrick, a guildsman from the Spacing Guild.

Just like

how in Oceans 11 where they were barnied, remember?

Yeah.

We've got 10 or 12 people, so we could have an Oceans, including ourselves, an Oceans 14 to steal the spell.

If we switch the perspective to a helpless person within the club or somebody who doesn't understand what's happening or is just trying to get away from him, if we don't know what he's doing in that scene, if we just see it from the reverse, it becomes really scary.

As opposed to when we're seeing it from his point of view, it's like Ocean's Eleven, where he's tricking these people.

Yeah,

and he's having fun and we're rooting for him.

And it's cool.

It has a lot of really fun, creepy ideas in it that are, you know, executed in an Ocean's Eleven way.

So we're laughing through it, but it's, it's, it's still like, anyway, it's, they're good ideas, but I do agree with you that a horror movie perspective would have been interesting.

Yeah, it's always good ideas, I think.

80s.

Yeah, like the George Clooney, Ocean's Eleven kind of like Miami kind of era.

We did that kind of branding there.

And that one was so easy to get off the ground.

it is going back to the true roots of X-Men, more so than First Class.

And I don't know how they're going to set it up, if it's going to be like that all the characters know each other, or if it's going to be like I'm imagining like an Ocean's Eleven kind of thing where Charles Xavier probably has one person and I'm imagining maybe like Emma Frost is his person and they are looking for people I'll be honest I don't think we get Magneto in this movie I don't think so I know he's a big part to the X-Men

lore but I don't think so I think we get him, but I think they have their Magneto, by the way.

I think they already cast him.

Steven Soderbergh, correct? Soderbergh.

Yeah, he directed Ocean's Eleven, Traffic, which was great.

Yeah.

Aaron Brockovich.

Yeah, but that sounds also like how people would get into a casino to rob it.

I'm thinking of Ocean's Eleven right now.

Like if he had a fake ID that said Daquan.

I'm like, hang on a second.

Yeah, but that sounds also like how people would get into a casino to rob it.
