Omar Sy

But the 2020 film takes that cold logistical workplace and, and turns it into a warm family unit.

The film casts Omar Sy, a really charismatic Black French actor, as Perrault, and it gender swaps François, casting, uh, Cara Gee, an indigenous Ojibwe actress, as Françoise.

Right.

And, and they play them as this incredibly vibrant, exuberant couple.

The talent pool is exceptional.

So for the French production, they cast Omar Sy and Dava Cassel.

Huge.

The German adaptation features Matthias Schweighöfer and Jean Goursaud.

The Italian version stars Riccardo Scamarcio and Benedetta Porcaroli.

For Castilian Spanish, they brought in Asier Etxeandia and Claudia Salas, and the Latin American Spanish version features Esmeralda Pimentel.

I mean, Omar Sy in France is a colossal star.

Truly.

That show is so funny just because he's like, I want to get into this disguise.

Like, yo, you look like Omar Sy.

It's that guy right there.

He's bigger than all of

Yes, it's not that long ago.

Omar Sy is a good friend of ours and he connected

us.

Even if Omar

So the

one guy that I knew was in this... is Omar Sy, who is the XO Dorsey, the black

guy.

Yes, I thought I recognized him from

and their chemistry is overshadowed by the film's frenetic pace.

The supporting cast, including Irfan Khan as the enigmatic provost and Omar Sy as a pursuing cop, are given little to work with, resulting in underdeveloped characters.

Visually, Inferno offers glimpses of Italy's stunning landscapes and historical architecture, but these are often obscured by the film's amateurish cinematography.

The direction by Ron Howard, usually a strong point, feels uninspired, with an over-reliance on flashbacks and a lack of engaging action sequences.

Comes from the depths of being finished to getting a round two TKO.

Round one against Omar Sy.

34 significant strikes to two.

Three minutes of control time.

I'll happily admit it.

I should have picked you, Modestus.

For Omar Sy, all right, cut him.

Cut him.

He tells them that mercenaries have taken their daughter to Malta.

So they go there and meet Owen's former Jurassic World colleague Barry, played by Omar Sy, who is leading a French intelligence sting on the black market there.

It all goes a bit wrong and then some James Bond stuff happens and Owen is definitely cool.

But most importantly, the thing is that they make friends with a repentant black market trader named Kyla Watts, played by the Wonderwise, who offers to fly them to the research facility where the daughter has now been taken.

But he also said, and I remember him talking i remember the interviews where he said that owen and barry's relationship is a core foundation of the world trilogy and uh he's not even in the character does not exist and he's sort of like he's over there like But I think that actually could have been something that played really well if they'd kept those two characters together in the movies.

It could have been quite fun.

It's Omar Sy, wasn't it? Omar Sy?

Yeah.

You wouldn't believe I spent five minutes this morning trying to work out how I was going to explain all of that.

It stars Omar Sy as Abel Camara and Sarah Giraudoux as Marion.

And I also want to mention that Rozon played Claudine, the chien de Marion.

I feel like that's important.

Because there are lots of parts that work really

nicely.

We have to, before we finish, we have to talk about the fact that Omar Sy is a big French actor.

He's really well known over here for Lupin, which was a huge Netflix hit.
