13:07Carly SilvermanHOST
Where do you land on Lena Dunham? Because she's like been back in the press and everything and she's like wanted to address in her book about the Nepo baby stuff.
C
13:15Carly SilvermanHOST
I never considered her a Nepo baby because her parents were in like visual studio arts and she went into entertainment.
C
13:21Carly SilvermanHOST
I consider her like extremely privileged and that's certainly... helped her get to where she is but like those are different i i think yeah
F
13:30Fran HoepfnerGUEST
yeah absolutely i think looking back on the nepo baby discourse with lena dunham is like wow we were really inflating the role of the studio artist in today's society in a way that almost feels like kind of nice it's like wow we really thought her parents were like extremely powerful um and they're excellent artists and i think she's quite clear about like the I think it's kind of ludicrous to call her one, but I also think it's like so taken hold with the cast of girls that they were in all in different ways, all four of them, some kind of industry baby that I don't think like my brain knows how to divorce her from that particular discourse.
F
14:16Fran HoepfnerGUEST
But like she definitely isn't really one and neither really is Jemima Kirk.
