Let’s Dangerously Overreact to the Timberwolves After One Game | Wolves Fandom Friday

And let's use that to transition to today's or yesterday's game because whoa i mean the level of offensive efficiency that we saw the dynamic talent on the court man let's talk about anthony edwards because anthony edwards of course like i said 45 points nine threes what did you think after watching that monstrosity that incredible performance from ant-man

hey i mean uh and 45 points and he didn't shoot his first free throw until late in the third quarter i mean it's crazy you you got you got aphrodite who is the goddess of what she's she's beauty and love and then zeus is the god of gods and ant is the god of ethical ethical hoops i mean it's just so much fun to watch him transition, pull up in the middie, drive to the rack.

He has it all.

And I think he's primed for a potential historic MVP season the way it looked last night.

yeah i think watching that game it's hard not to believe he can enter the mvp conversation i mean what stood out to me was early in the game he was playing off ball a lot like a lot it was lamella ball setting the table for everybody and then you had obviously jayden went going early it would it made a couple shots and like late in the first quarter he had eight points so he was definitely involved but it wasn't the eight points that you saw last year where it's just, he has the ball and you're like, Whoa, he has eight points.

I barely noticed he had eight points.

It was like Kevin Durant where Kevin Durant will play off ball all game.

And then you blink, you feel like he wasn't there.

Then it's, he got 37 and eight that game.

It looked like that early in the game.

And then after that first half, you felt the rhythm.

And then Anthony Edwards said, okay, I'm going to get my shot going and let's just, let's start trying some stuff off the dribble.

And yeah, The ridiculous level of shot making, man.

I don't think anybody outside of Steph can do that.

You know, I was actually thinking the exact same thing.

I texted some of my friends, and I said, I haven't seen a team heat up like this since the prime 2016 Warriors.

I mean, to go on runs like LaMelo and Ant did at the beginning of the third when they just went back-to-back hitting threes.

We had three threes in a row in under 45 seconds, maybe a minute.

We went up 12 points on a 12-0 run.

Or, no, sorry, nine points, but...

But yeah, it's really something to watch.

Yeah, it just looks foreign to me.

I said this the first preseason game against Milwaukee.

I don't know what I'm watching.

Do I deserve this? Basketball gods, what did I do to deserve this? Because you're playing against a team with Giannis and Bam in the paint.
