I think James Dolan

has quietly improved his reputation because of that.

He does care, and he wants to win, and he may do things like... facial recognition in the stadium and like absurd things.

Do you think that's too simple when it comes to Mitchell Robinson specifically?

yes but also no and here here's my issue i think it's fair if you asked me would you have just given mitchell robinson this deal in a vacuum my answer is no but the fact that the knicks and by knicks i mean james dolan right took it off the table off rip by the way you just won the title and you came out and said that that bugs me because it shows are you i think it hints more alarmingly at are you never willing to enter the second apron because what have you and i always said going into the second apron for a year or two should not just like if you're really going to go all in on your window going into the second apron for a year or two should not be considered taboo And so we talked about this with the Celtics.

I don't love the Mitchell Robinson contract.

I think you can also make the case that, or you don't have to make the case, he's less valuable to the Knicks than he is to the Celtics.

That 99, you and that injury right before we meet Spurs, that hurt too.

And then for 20 years, I had to deal with fucking James Dolan's fuckery.

All I'm saying is that if they did some shit like this, I think it would've came out by now.

That's not an overnight thing.

Now, you can disagree, and many of you do, that Chris Drury is the right man for that job, but Regardless of that opinion, James Dolan thinks he is, and that's not a one-day thing.

I have seen commentary that, oh, Quinton Dolan's taking over, and, you know, this is not good for Drury.

I fundamentally disagree.

And that's fine.

It's your prerogative.

But if I'm James Dolan, Chris Drury's kind of done some of the things that he's talked about doing.

And yes, it has to play out.

And Art Modell, I was friends with, and I liked Art, and he broke my heart when he moved my Browns to Baltimore.

The only two current owners that were selected, Chris, James Dolan, which he just won a title, and he still got inducted.

Well, that's stupid.

And then Woody Johnson, the Jets owner, too.
