But the big news out of that press conference was sounds like NBA expansion is on the horizon.

Last time a new team joined the NBA is the Charlotte Bobcats started in the two thousand four, two thousand five season.

And now we've gone the longest time in NBA history without any expansion.

But it sounds like Vegas and Seattle are on the horizon for the twenty-eight, twenty-nine season, D. I don't know if we've ever talked about this topic on the pod, but what do you think about the prospect of NBA expansion?

The Charlotte Hornets.

Oh my God.

Everyone's so high on the Hornets, man.

You have this formula.

You can kinda get how it gets here.

And then there's, you're sitting at a bar, and I ask you, "For the next three years, would you rather be the Charlotte Hornets or the Denver Nuggets?"

Here, here's what I'll say.

Mm-hmm

... which I think is, uh, gonna just be really exciting and something that, you know, they, they haven't done in the NBA since the Charlotte Bobcats in I think like 2002 or 2003 or something like that.

Yeah, yeah.

Um, but it's gonna be a totally different beast now with just the access to information-

I'm thinking of Charlotte, and I'm thinking like the Miami Heat, because they did pretty well in the draft.

And that would als- always help you, you know what I mean, very early on.

But then like you mentioned, you got your Charlotte Bobcats.

I remember Minnesota.

He's my point guard.

At a two, uh, I've got the new Charlotte Hornet, if I'm not mistaken.

I've got Grayson Allen.

You know, I understand-
