The Set Is Officially Going On Tour!

So what am I doing, okay? Over the, over the next few weeks, I will be on a training camp tour, and by that I will be making stops at Chicago with the Bears, um, New Orleans with the Saints, Dallas Cowboys, LA Rams, Jacksonville Jaguars.

So we'll be get a chan- we will get a chance to dive into everything that's happening at those respective places, get more information on training camp, how certain guys are performing, how the younger guys are looking early in camp that are going to come in and impact their teams.

Training camp is a space in the NFL that's blind to the public.

Like, outside of what you get from your beat writers or some clips from national new- national news, you really have no idea what your team is doing, how they're performing, how they look, how they're gelling and meshing well.

And also, each team is blind to the other teams.

So one team, as hard as they're working, everything that they're putting together, they have no idea what the other thirty-one teams are doing because there's no film that's being put out.

There's no games that's being played.

A lot of teams have adopted joint practice, and now where we used to do one joint practice against the Patriots or against the Houston Texans back when I was in New Orleans, now teams are doing two joint practices or three different joint practices, and it, it gives your ch- it gives yourself a chance to measure and, and really see where you are as a ball club.

You get a chance to go against another team that's been blind, and y'all go after it.

You see who's further ahead, who's operating better, who's performing better, who has more chemistry, more cohesiveness, and then you can gauge from that.

So teams are, are using that to their advantage.

I think it's smart.

I, I, I'm not a person that thrilled, that's thrilled about three joint practices.

One, great.

Two is enough.

Three, uh, that's, that's a bit much in my personal opinion.

But it is a great chance to go against different guys, go against different schemes, compete, see where you are.

So I definitely appreciate it, and it does wonders for the young guys, wonders for them, 'cause they're still trying to create their practice habits and learn how to practice at a certain level.

So the joint practices is very, um, very beneficial for a lot of people.

So for joint practices, I'll, I'll be at, uh, Saints and Cowboys joint practice.

I'll be at Saints and Jaguars joint practice.

I will be at Saints and Rams joint practice.

And, um, yeah.

So as far as joint practices go, so be on the lookout for a lot of reactions, a lot of recaps on what's happening in that practice.

No, I'm not here to share secrets or give away anything that leave any of these teams at a disadvantage.
