It was an incredible play by Chase Young, best play on the team right now.

I talked to Chase after the game.

He was very – It was very diplomatic on the interview.

It's one of those you have to go deep into the rule book, and it almost even feels like, is this the way it's supposed to be interpreted? I can understand if maybe the quarterback's arm is clearly moving forward and maybe the ball gets past his head.

and then he gets hit, and then it goes backwards.

Maybe you can make a case, but in this case, Chase Young hits him from behind.

The ball is still behind Goff, and then it goes further behind when the ball comes out, and he gets hit.

He was also robbed of a scoop and score fumble with a new rule that apparently they made up during the game that if he's throwing back, if the quarterback's throwing backwards, but he intended to be throw forward supposedly, then it is not a fumble, it is incomplete pass.

Where the hell did that come from? That cost Chase Young a sack and a forced fumble, you know, and it impacted Sinker getting a scoop score fumble recovery as well.

So I've been singing the praises of Sanker, or Yanker, depending on who you ask, depends on how it's pronounced.

Only played 66% of the snaps, but Sean, so it sounds like whenever they're playing a team with three wide receivers a decent amount, you want Sanker in your lineup.

If not, know you're taking a big risk.

Chase Young and Carl Granderson both played 77% of the snaps.

Young only had one pass defense and one quarterback hit that play we just talked about, but he was robbed of that strip sack fumble.

But yeah, You can't be going into shootouts in the week one and expect, you know, because, you know, I'm not going to lie.

Panay Sewell got beat a couple times with Chase Young on the left, you know, so he's adapting to being a left tackle again.

So there were some, you know, some takeaways, a lot of good ones, a lot of bad ones.

How many carries is Gibbs going to get this year? What is he going to do? Is it going to take a toll on him not having a running back too right now because Pacheco's out for like 12 weeks with a back injury? We don't really have a running back, and we worked out Kareem Hunt.

So to have that drive in them, I think that's something that you want to have in the team.

I don't know if it was necessary that he laid out the catches, but he certainly did it and looked impressive, so I loved watching it.

But there was plenty of other quote-unquote excuses that I'm willing to give the Saints as well.

The Chase Young strip sack that has all referees in a knot this week cost the Saints seven points.

Tyler Shooks Turnovers, on the other hand, seemed extra costly.

This is a very strong middle of the field.

And Chase Young wants to run.

We should really have spoken about it at some point, but Chase Young... forced fumble of Jared Goff that for some reason wasn't a forced fumble is something that's going to be studied and there may well be a rule change around it as well.

Really, really strange, but I guess I understand it.
